  I spent a total of 19 months in Vietnam during the war as a helicopter doorgunner. A month before I came home I looked into a mirror and commented to a buddy, “Damn! I bet I‘ve aged 5 years since I’ve been here.”

  I’m just thinking how mad the taxpayers are going to be when they find out how much money, over so many decades, that the US Army has wasted teaching us pilots (yes I was an Army helicopter pilot for 24 years) how to fly in the clouds under IFR.

  Who do you think taught Mexican military helicopter pilots how to fly helicopters?
