  • Nick, just to throw a wrech in your “fully armed fighter’ argument. Should Bill Gates be able to buy a fully armed fighter? i used to work for a company called Micron in Boise ID and the CEO of that company did have a MiG fighter. I am not sure if he armed it before he flew it but I know he had it. Not taking either side of the argument just stating that I am pretty sure there are no gun control laws to prevent someone with enough money to buy a fighter jet. :-)

just clicked here because it was Megan and I wanted to give Scott another data point for Megan posts.

  • That is what I was thinking. I can’t thnk of any fast food place that does not have some version of this. If I were Burger King, Sonic, etc. I would offer to help fund McDonalds defense because they are next if this is won by this poor excuse for a “mother”. I don’t even know when parenting went the way of the dinosaur. I remember hearing no a lot as a kid.

  • Frustrated Ann Coulter Loses it With Guest on Hannity Over TSA

    In reply to Sara.

I also think there is a real problem with a cutoff age of 12. I have a 12 year old on and 16 year old daughter that I would never let this kind of patdown happen on. In my case I just won’t fly. This is going to hurt an already stressed airline industry, just another case of the government killing industry with bad legislation. Once again the question is where will it stop, how much freedom do we give up for the “promise” of security?

  • I agree with Ann, if a system is bad and it does not work you should be able to say it is bad and it does not work. Not having an alternative to a broken system does not make the broken system work. She also stated numerous times what shoudl be done but no one wants to hear the word “profile” even if that is the only system that would work.

I agree. I have traveled to Israel twice, once was Dec of 2001 and neither time was I full body scanned or groped. I have never felt safer on a plane than I did there. They take security very seriously over there but the biggest part of their security is highly trained personnel. I was bumped from a flight back to the states and was asked by five different security officers for my passport. This was done because I was standing by the ticketing counter waiting to know for sure if I was bumped. They were not rude or antagonistic. They were very thorough but they actually observe travelers and look for signs of a person that might have a problem. Their system is based on competence and not throwing money at it. It would be nice if our government actually learned from others experiences before implementing a policy.

  • I think it is hillarious that he said “I hope she is watching this show tonight”. Anyone that has a complete lack of connection with reality, thinking that anyone is watching his show, should probably up his meds. I guess if Sarah does not do what the left wing radicals ask then she is obviously un-American. I did not think they could get any farther into the lunacy.

  • I have to say that this is the first time I don’t think Glenn did enough homework on the actual interview to make a judegment. I know he said that if this was taken in context that he would campaign against him but if you look at the whole interview this was a political hatchet job of the first degree. Please read what was actually said before trashing this guy.

  • Hey SICBOY, I am not sure why you went with the personal attack, I asked a legitimate question. let me ask it another way. If I go to an employment agency and hire a person that is vouched for by that agency and they have all of the right documents then why should I have to pay a couple hundred dollars to confirm this? Is it because she has millions and therefore she should? What if she was like most Americans and did not have the extra money, would she still need to do this? Where do you draw the line of checking on people? “It’s called protecting your family. If i’m going to hire someone to come into my house, clean, cook whatever.” If I hire someone to work in my yard, replace my roof, do an upgrade on my basement, etc. All of these people are going to come into my home, should I spend the money to check each one? And if I don’t should I be lambasted in the media for not knowing that they were illigal? As far as looking illigal, my question is if this was a caucasion women, would there have been this much media coverage? You could reply with a response to the questions or just call me names again, your choice.

  • Hey SICBOY, isn’t that why people had a problem with on the AZ law. Are you saying that Whitman should have checked her legal status because she was Latino. Isn’t that profiling? If all of her documents were in order she should have checked anyway because she looked illegal?
