  • Hmm.. intimidation by police? Sounds like something union thugs would do. Oh, wait…

  • Still trying to wrap my head around how letting people keep money they’ve earned results in $700 billion/year in deficit spending. I must have missed that day in Econ class.

I guess we are FORCED to spend $3 Tril/year to keep this Fabian-socialist transformation on track.

  • darn it… and I was looking for another company to add to the boycott list. Unfortunately, BoA was on the list long ago. I moved all of my accounts to a local credit union years ago, when my tax money bailed all the big boys out. The big banks may not have even noticed I moved my business elsewhere, but I sure sleep better at night.

  • Now, which one is the white-hispanic? I’m so confused.

  • Fat Tire in the winter, Sunshine (with a slice of orange) in the summer!

  • I got my weekly paycheck today – $2.56!! Let’s go to the mall, kids!

  • Anti-Israel, or pro-peace?? Surely the Co-op is pro-peace, right?

Therefore, I say let the co-op proceed with boycotting goods from any nation that currently occupies what the Palestinians claim as thier own land ( Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan ) , countries who once controlled this land but didn’t give it to the Palestinians on a silver platter ( Turkey, Great Brittan), those Arab nations who once controlled all the current palestinian territory, but made no effort to install Palestinian leadership and create a state of their own (Jordan again, Egypt).

Better yet, include every nation in the U.N. who voted for the partition of land in 1947, setting borders fairly similar to what they are today.

Seeing as how that list is extensive, perhaps the co-op should stick to only goods from nations that opposed the partition of land in the UN vote… the complete list:
Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, India, Greece, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, and Yemen. Yes, that’s it – only 13 nations voted NO.

(By the way, the US voted “YES”….. you’ll have to boycott American-made goods as well.)

Good luck filling your shopping list with only goods from those nations!

Bad news though – there are only so many ways to prepare goat meat.

  • The lines have been drawn, and both eastern and western nations are now officially in the middle of the fight between Sunnis and Shiites. Iran, Syrian leadership, and Russia (with their history of fighting mostly Sunni extremists) have taken the side of the Shia. China, for whatever reason, has chosen Shia as well, as have many South American nations. On the other hand , we have NATO nations sticking their noses into Libya, Egypt and other middle eastern nations, pushing Sunnis into power (Muslim Brotherhood). If you are one who believes Obama is Muslim, he is most likely Sunni as well, being raised in Indonesia.

Western nations are backing the Sunnis, and the rest, the Shiites – it’s as simple as that. Where it gets messy is Al Qaeda is Sunni, as is the Taliban and most of Pakistan. Remember Biden stating the the Taliban is not our enemy “per se”, and our government consistently telling us Pakistan is an ally? Now we are about to start funding the Syrian rebels, and hand money and weapons to Al Qaeda, just like we did in Libya.

I’d be willing to bet our “secret” peace talks with the Taliban are revolving around the fact that we share a common enemy – the Shiites.

  • I saw this on local news, including a snippet from a Denver Imam they interviewed about the controversy. Here’s the local story – highlighted by the Imam saying the boy is basically “ignorant” for his interpretation.
