  How much did Medicare have to pay in income tax? Just a guess but I am thinking that the insurance companys that are paying out 80% of premiums in health cost are also having to take a piece (34%) of what is left over and hand it to the IRS. Medicare, not so much. Sure helps when you get to use all of what you take in vs. having to pay a third of it out to the IRS. Wonder how long the government would stay afloat if they had to pay 1/3 of what they take in to someone else…would be preatty ugly considering that they already borrow $0.40 of every dollar that they spend.

  Not all banks are the same but most big banks are…support your local community bank, they want and need your business. Let the big, bail-out taking banks that were deemed to big to fail FAIL. Community banks, who’s owners generally work in, live in and support YOUR community are not the problem. The multi-national and investment banks are the problem…just saying.

  As a proud conservative, of Latino descent, I agree with Islandlady. Legal is legal and illegal is illegal. My family has lived in parts of the SW of America before it was America and I welcome more Latinos to join us here…so long as they come in through the front door. I guess I am just another one of those racist teab@*&ers that hates Mexican (and apparently myself) for wanting our laws enforced. Wake up…if you want us to continue having the greatest country on earth we need to keep it a sovereign state. I for one prefer American’s standard of living as it is…apparently so do a lot of Mexico’s citizens, so lets try to preserve it and have those that want to be a part of it come in legally.

  How do you know that Alex is affiliated with a TEA party? I didn’t get that from his post at all, then again I didn’t get racism from his post either…guess you just see the world through different glasses then me to see racism in everything that anyone who you disagrees says. Before you go calling me a racist tea ****** please take note that my family’s history in the south west predates the south west being part of America and that I judge all men on the content of their character…not on the color of their skin.

  Glenn should make what ever the market will bring for his products/services…just like the non-union life guards in my town, which is about $10.00 an hour for your info. Guess the lives of the folks in our pool just aren’t as valuable as those in CA. Probably has to do with the fact that they aren‘t liberal atheist and are just plain ol’ Americans…Liberals always think they are worth more than what they truly are.
