  Yep! Seen those folk myself. ִThey shoot them right in the heart with phony facts and ridicule anyone daring to disagree with them.
  I met a family of four Mom Pop and and twin girls getting settled in one September. One of the girls wanted to be an artist and took an elective in art. The first project of the semester involved a nude male model. She was very upset and came and talked to me about her situation. Later I learned from another girl that she had become pregnant but didn’t know who the father was. A short time later she was kicked out of college and both girls went home. Their devout Bible reading parents were in complete shock. Shortly thereafter that drop dead gorgeous girl committed suicide in her bedroom at home.
  Now please explain more to me about the benefits of college education and the Hellenic groups that made her a “Little Sister?” Which is a euphemism for having sex with every guy in the fraternity.

  FIREBRAND, You are very intelligent, but you have apparently never heard the term, “Garbage in! Garbage out!”
  So lets talk facts. I worked for six years at a noted religious college. Almost every professor was biblically illiterate. The college itself practiced a confusing brew of outward churchianity while inwardly acting like total pagans. The rule of the year was total inconsistency. Like many on this thread Genesis and most of the Bible was dismissed. One day I asked a Jewish biology professor a question about evolution. His untoward outburst was illuminating. He delivered a two minute tirade about the stupidity of anyone who actually believed the Bible. I then asked him how then he explained that human skulls have shown a steady decrease of the cranial cavity from about 1600 cc‘s to the present 1100 to 1200 cc’s? Out of deference to him, all I can say is that he became extremely unpleasant. I have yet in over 34 years of ministry been able to have a civil discussion with any Darwinian educator. I have an open offer to debate anyone by written reply with the proviso that neither Ungodism nor Godism arguments will be permitted. All replies must contain repeatable, scientifically achieved, observable, peer reviewed and duplicated results published in a recognized scientific journal, and moderated by any three scientists reflecting evolution, creation, and undecided to be published in National Geographic Magazine or such. To date this offer hasn’t been taken up

  Please forgive me if I was cheeky. But to answer your question I must refer you to the Bible. John 3:16, 14:6, Ephesians 2:6-10, Romans 10. Technically speaking on April 13th, 1976 my spirit was saved. Since then My soul is being saved. And lastly my body will be saved at the first resurrection. The facts are simple. I chose by trust the free gift God offers through his son the Jewish Messiah known as Yeshua/Jesus. I became a child of God permitted to boldly enter the throne room of my heavenly Father and cry out Daddy help! But among sinners I am a most gross and ugly horror. I attacked the Bible without having ever actually read it, because of books saying it was lies, myths, fables, and outright whoppers. In 1965 I was Nogodiian. I was upset with books trying to debunk the Bible with nothing more than opinion passed off as fact. So I decided to research and write my own book on factual evidence. That required discrediting the complete book of Genesis. I spent the next ten years in a losing battle. For instance, when NASA began firing German V-2 rockets into space we learned that animals became crispy critters. Genesis 1:3 makes the observation of good light implying the idea of bad light. Elohim blew in his nose, mouth to nose resuscitation in 1959CE. “ Deep Sleep” anesthesia 1840CE. The Rib-clone that regrew a new rib in Adam and a female named Ishah2000CE. Everything went south after that. And I do mean EveryThing.

  G.E.R., had the same opinion myself once. Happily a lady in my astronomy class asked a couple of questions after a long sermon on the Big Bang. When the acclaimed visiting professor pointed to a science type female she stood and asked two simple questions: 1. What exactly blew up? 2. What detonated it? He walked out without saying a word. Since then I have had the privilege of listening to a number of scientists who at one time were evolutionists themselves. They were forced to admit their own research ended any possibility at all of spontaneous generation. Most are noted mathematicians, tenured professors, CEO’s of large tech companies, and PHD’s in every specialty of science. Anything at all with a statistical probability of 1 in 10 to the 40th [40 zeros] is scientifically absurd.

  The unbelievable single cell is so complex that we are just beginning to see its secrets. The odds of primordial soup generating just one is 1 in 10 to the 200th+ [200 zeros]. And we humans have trillions of them programmed. When life was created in the early 50′s oxygen was excluded, but the generated amino acids were right handed and useless because humans need left handed amino acids?   This one is real easy. There are two basic religions in the world: Darwinian Nogodism requiring total, blind, unquestioning, faith in Evolution; and many path godistical work your way into paradise requiring total obedience to enormously difficult laws, requirements and people.

  As for me, I simply asked Jesus into my heart years ago, and He freed me.

  I became aware of the probability of a contrived race war years ago. One Vet told me about ten years ago this would happen. He asked my opinion on the outcome. I said he would not be able to camouflage himself as a white person, and black Americans tend to congregate in cities where wiping them out would be relatively easy. He countered saying that would be difficult to do. Adding most National Guard units have large numbers of Americans who are dark skinned. Now the Obama-Holder joint resolution task force seem to heavily support him. Martial law interning of potential domestic terrorists in empty FEMA camps now becomes a clear and present danger. Assuming any attempted Islamo-commie take over they are already well prepared. My best guess is that there will be sudden middle of the night collections of Americans. Simply hiding a side arm will not suffice. As demonstrated they have machine guns. And Mr. Obama-Holder will have the deck stacked. Worst of all, the Pentagon will be able to do nothing to stop them. As yet, I do not see a happy outcome for anyone. Speachifying-commie-lib-progs always run screaming “Mommie! Mommie! Help!” at the sound of gunfire. They always need their “useful idiots” to do their killing for them China, Germany, and Russia come to mind. But! will the majority sleep on? Afraid so. The really big question is when?   BILLK—Unfortunately, we simply are being denied the actual hearing testimony. Without that we have to assume INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty! But in fact I think most Americans are appalled that there has been no release of Judge Mohammad’s testimony. My question is simply—WHY!

  Jim Pryor—That unfortunately is not in the US Constitution. What is in the Constitution is the much abused Bill Of Rights, which allows us to practice Freedom OF Speech; Freedom OF Religion; and Freedom OF the Press. There is no such thing as Freedom FROM Religion.

  The wall of separation in Jefferson’s reply to the Danbury Baptist Association was that he would veto any bill brought to him Establishing a State Church such as the Church of England, The Roman Catholic Church, The Congregationalist Church, or any other CHURCH! And that includes the ATHEIST CHURCH which requires blind total faith on the part of the believer in Evolutionary, no godism.

  I have an idea! How about we simply cut of 90% of funding for all of “I‘m from the government and I’m here to help you!” If we keep all of them broke, then they all will have to rely on will be their usual private sector graft from K Street ! I have an even better idea, let us ram through a qualifications-test based on the their honesty, integrity, complete disclosure of their past, and a full disclosure of their sources of all revenue. Oh! and a pre-election contract that includes auto-resignation for cause by a military tribunal!

  Throughout the last 1,400 years the Moslems have killed more human beings than all of the rest of religions combined. Barely edging out the Atheist religion which of course has been responsible for numbers approaching the billion mark. Ever hear of the massacres in Mecca, Medina, and across North Africa into Spain, France, Turkey, Armenia, and the Balkans?
  Please review your history. I assume that you have simply made an honest error. You may wish also to review the Koran and the Hadiths. They are very enlightening.
