First of all, Sergio wasnt demanding you believe like he does, and none of the things you quoted in your comment were mentioned at all by him – ie. “I’ll pray for you“ or anything about ”universal reward or punishment.” He was merely talking about some of his own beliefs, as unique as his way of expressing it may be. I liked his sincerity. Now, there might be some wild-eyed people of faith – like noroomforsocialismhere, but there are those people everywhere – I’m sure you can find plenty of atheists that are just as unstable.

and @Foxhole, Fuego wasnt trying to convince you of his beliefs either. He was merely trying to point out that BeckisNuts was trying to start a fight and here you come from behind trying to start a fight again. Nothing you said even makes sense when you read his comment. He wasnt trying to do any convincing. Besides, the burden of proof lies just as much with you as it does with him. Good luck.

I believe I could refer to myself as a highly educated scientist with a very large stack of science books and I believe in God.

  • @Konservative Punk

Every comment you make seems to only further display your ignorance about your own brother’s life and beliefs. It appears that you are the one who has been fooled. I’m sure you just sit there and swallow everything your anti-mormon pastor will feed you. Why dont you bypass him and ask God how He feels about the unChrist-like attitude and bigotry you’re spouting on here today. Its okay to disagree with Romney. Just try to be decent about it.

  • Broker,
I dont comment on here too often, and I work 14 hour work days 6 days a week, and I believe I have seen your name on here just as often as most other names. So if you‘re going to be mean about regular comment contributors I think you’re being a little hypocritical. That being said, I enjoyed the description of your day. Sounded productive and therapeutic. May the Lord bless you and your family.

  • Come on, the kids asked them to do it and they were just trying to be polite. I thought it made them look normal, and that’s a good thing. We would all be criticizing them if they went out and stole the show away from the kids. It was just a little folk dance. No one else in the world thinks there was anything wrong with this. Remember, we respect the president and the first lady, we just disagree with policies and actions.

  • MATTY1631,

I dont think you’re fitting in quite as well as you hoped. Sorry. Your sheep outfit just doesnt fit very well. Maybe you can get a refund on that “Conservatism for Idiots” book you bought. We still care about you, we just dont agree with what you say or what you’re trying to do.

  • Cotuit,
Hahahaha – you mean obamaworshioer?? :)

    Snaptie,
“Everybody here that is white is racist”? Doesnt that sound like a bit of an overgeneralization? I have a lot of friends in Arizona, including hispanic friends. No one I talk to there dislikes hispanics. They just want people to enter LEGALLY. Its not that they dont want them to enter. Try to look at the issues instead of get defensive about race.

  • ABC,
Trading carbon is not capitalism (and opposition to it is not anti-capitalist) because it produces nothing. It provides no services or resources to the economy, it only takes away. If corporations are being forced to pay billions of dollars over the next century so they dont have to cut production to avoid raising temperatures by .0015 degrees, that is money lost that could be used to invest, hire, and stimulate the economy. This is the purpose of the progressive agenda: cripple the U.S. economy.

  • Gallup Poll: Romney, Palin Early GOP Front Runners

I understand that you were joking, but for the ignorant person reading this, mormons (LDS) dont have multiple wives, its a group called the FLDS that do – like Warren Jeffs – they’re not mormons. Glenn Beck and Mitt Romney and every other mormon only have one wife.

On that point though, i dont think Glenn would ever openly support Romney even if he was ultra conservative because people would immediately jump to this conclusion. Too bad. No one would care if a protestant supported a protestant or a catholic supported a catholic. I would like to hear what Romney has to say these days though. I liked him as a candidate last election for his economic smarts, but unless he’s aligned that with the conservative values of cutting the government, spending, and taxes, he’s not right for our country.
