  • The Blaze.com has been hacked b4 when we were lesss diligent

  • Well…if anyone can recognize a demon…

  • “There is no truth except Allah.” Now there’s the tolerant voice of moderate Islam. [I wish I had a "sarcasm font."] Islam does not tolerate Christians in its midst. At best, the Christian is allowed to live but if he preaches Jesus to Muslims; if a Muslim accepts that preaching and submits to baptism/conversion, death awaits both.

It is irrelevant that our government protects “religious freedom.” Sharia is superior to any & all other law. Yet, Islam can call upon the constitution for protection of the free exercise of Islam. The 1st amendment protects the right of Islam to kill its own when they “break” Islamic law. Really?

A chorale should be free to sing songs of its faith. But it must not be forced to sing songs that directly assault their faith.

Neither should Muslim schools be forced, or even be expected, to sing, “Jesus is Lord” or Not here.

We live in a nation that has become a conundrum. We offer freedom and tolerance, yet cannot truly give fully & equally give them. But we still retain the ability – if not the sanity – to withold enforcement of one religion‘s tenets upon another religion’s disciples.

A swing allowing Islam its freedom, & providing artificially parity is coming. American choice will birth a point of no return. Islam will deploy the power of numbers to demand submission of Christians (& everyone else). The constitution will be amended to grant Islam superiority if not autonomy in dispensing its law & discipline

  • Awww. You know it’s only half as funny as some of the things Obama says

  • To say that sociopaths are usually athiest is not to say athiests are usually sociopaths. The latter may be true or it may not. But the former is true. You don’t automatically become a sociopath when you become an atheist (although I believe it diminishes the required steps to make that journey.)

But, a sociopath MUST be an atheist. The life-path itself demands the absence of God and Godly principles. Atheists may (and do) care about other people; they help others…even without God as the motivating force. Sociopaths care about no one. Help no one.

The troubling part is the “chicken/egg” delimma is simple. Sociopaths do not become atheists; they already are. Atheits can become sociopaths; absent God, the good that can be done is arbitrary and based on nothing whose authority cannot be challenged. So, an atheist only has to reject “good” because there is no God.

In reality, God can fix either one, sociopath or atheist…though the former may find it easier to realize the need for a fix while the latter sees nothing out of order that may need repair.

Commentary, as opposed to the “analysis”: Belief in God — anti-atheism — is not the ultimate motivator for positive change, either in society or within oneself. Jesus, as God Incarnate, turns a world upside down and carries the believer beyond what they can do for and by their own might. Jesus converts “belief” into strenght, direction and power.

  • What’s next? Navel-gazin?

  • How DARE he compare Barack Obama with Martin Luther King!

I imagine Rev. King would stick his finger in President Obama’s face.

  • “Exactly” how he feels? Really? Solitary Confinement doesn‘t mean you’re locked up with a solitary roomate with whom you either play the card game, or – more realistically – have sex. THAT form of incarceratoin seems more what your’re sentence was. And, that might be appealing once you understand the “prize” isn’t money and comes whenever roomie decides it comes…WHENEVER.

Tell me, was yours a judgement by your peers, or did you opt for a bench trial Either is a crap shoot, but judges can be more predictiable. Peer is a relative term; and perhaps at least some were your relatives.

Researchers, penologists, [Huh? What’s that, Loretta? (Loretta is my assistant.) O. Right. I’m sorry: “PEANololgists” say those sentenced in this manner generally not only get used to the life, they actually come to enjoy many aspects of it. However, it may take more, or less, than 2 years. And, dental hygeine is not overlooked. Your teeth likely get pulled much sooner than this guy’s. You may even want that, to be; well – frank – about it.

Lawsuits are much more rare than are funerals. Darn those pesky teeth.

Marriage is much older than county jails & dentists. Anthropologists suggest it is rarely solitary, if ever. Prizes are optional via Insuance companies & vary widely. Caution is advised in attempting to cash out early as the prize is often not awarded and one often ends up in the county jail anyway; and not generally in solitary.

    Don’t forget to floss regularl

  • I wonder if you can smoke a cigarette in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge? No matter, my mind was simply wandering. What wildlife is allowed refuge in Central Park? (O.K., I heard all of those and they were funny.)

  • I remember sitting in on a friend’s electronmicroscopy class while in grad school. And I thought THAT was amazing. Just think what changes a few decades can bring about. I can‘t wait for what we’ll be able to see in only ten more years! (…maybe God’s eye “winking” back at us?)
