  • I agree—Hannity & Rush are the only two I respect. Beck is inconsistent & a bit insane, O’Reilly is so full of himself…don’t even know why he bothers to have guests…he does ALL of the talking. They rarely are allowed to even finish a sentence. Levin is a bit insane, too. Rush & Hannity…they’re the best.

  • You are not the only one. I’ve also gotten pretty fed up with these characters from the dark side on Fox. Seems they are slowly increasing them in number. I may have to do the same thing my sons have done & that is just get rid of the TV. worthless.

  • Sundance—I made a reply about Pastor Warren & maybe you can confirm it. I saw some noter(s) (one being ‘Hollywood’) making some derogatory remarks about ‘being known by his works’. Well, you certainly stated some ‘good works’ of Warren’s. But….didn’t Warren return all the $ paid to him as pastor PLUS he doesn’t accept income as pastor of Saddleback?

You’re lucky to be a part of that church.

  • I’ve forgotten all the details now, but Pastor Warren doesn’t take any *pay* from his church. At a time when he made money from his books or whatever it was, he not only stopped taking $ as the pastor, he returned everything he’d been paid since he started that church. So-noters such as “hollywood” who made it sound like he was a schmuck–maybe you need to know a bit more about the person before you knock them.

I agree with what he said & I also think he should not have deleted it. He should have owned it & he could have readdressed it if he thought he came across “mean” — which I didn’t think he did.

Finally, it’s amusing to watch non-believers try to blackmail Christians with their faith. It‘s as if we’re all supposed to just ‘bend over’ & let the atheists all AIM. No, god-haters, it doesn’t work that way. Jesus preached accountability & responsibility, too. It’s a sin to ENCOURAGE people to be useless & lazy. ALL people should pay some level of taxation. Everyone should have a hand in it (paying taxes).

  • I’m definitely not a tree-hugger or one of these wacky protester types, but……I’m truly sickened by events that exploit animals – when cruel treatment to the animal happens. I agree that man has dominion–but damn….it’s a sick mind who has no conscious when an animal suffers so needlessly.

BTW, most “horse people” are crazy. I’ve never seen such a nutty bunch. Such a beautiful creature & so easily disposed. Shameful.

And to the “horsecrazy” person who says “just grab the reins”–you’ve got to be kidding me? It’s easy to watch a video & blather about “what YOU would have done”. Things look pretty clear sitting on your far arse watching a video & commenting. You weren’t in the middle of all the unexpected commotion. Dingbat.

  • That’s because you must not have conservative values. Huckabee was asked a question and I applaud that he doesn’t cave-in and “say” what he thinks people want to hear (like Obama does). Huckabee was RIGHT. Responsible people get married before getting pregnant. This is what’s wrong with our country…..no morals or values any more. Breakdown of the family. If anything, it makes me respect Huckabee MORE!

But whatever—he did NOT “slam” her. NOT at all. The liberal media is obviously worried he might run for President, so if they can demonize him–they will. They’re trying to make it sound like it was something worse than it is. My gosh, no group of people are going to agree on everything 100%. Reread (or listen again) to what Huckabee said. So, he thinks babies out of wedlock isn’t something to be glamorized because of what USUALLY happens to single mothers – living in poverty & not able to support themself & the baby. (THAT is what Huckabee was getting at. Young girls see rich-star Portman & thinks it looks glamorous.) There’s nothing wrong with what Huckabee said – it’s true. Even if you didn‘t care about the ’moral’ side of it, the common-sense, fiscally responsible side of it makes sense (which is much of what Huckabee was referring to.)

You say ‘ole fuddy’ GOP– no, it’s conservative values.

  • AMEN, GreenFairie!

  • What’s to call out about Bristol NOW?? It’s done. She‘s come forward to tell others that it’s best to practice abstinence and that it’s NOT glamorous. She never tried to glamorize her situation. The question to Huckabee was about the the Acadamy Awards the NIGHT BEFORE. Besides, even during the time when Bristol was pregnant & Sarah was campaigning – no one tried to act like it was “glamorous”. If anything, the Palins handled it very true to what they stand for, however they’re not unrealistic. People make mistakes, and when they do, they are accountable. The Palin‘s never glamorized Bristol’s pregnancy, but they also exhibited unconditional love AND accountability and NOT taking the selfish way out (abortion). In other words, they walk their talk.

You‘re just looking for something and you’re not finding it.

  • This kind of behavior from union people has turned me against unions. They’re so brainwashed into thinking that they “need” the union bosses; it’s pathetic to see the desperation (with pure rage) screaming that they’re all going to die now & lose everything. What the ??? They’re repeatedly told that so much, that they believe it. How silly. They’ll continue to be paid fairly & receive good benefits WITHOUT having to pay the annual union dues of $1000 a year. How do they think the rest of us get by? Sheesh.

LOL! That is so true…. I never thought of it that way…but that’s all Lardball & Rachel Madcow (& used to be Oblahblahman) do is rebuttles of FoxNews! That is so funny.
