  Bless you for the work you do. You provide both physical and emotional care which helps facilitate both the patient and his/her family to deal with their medical issues and concerns.

  I am forever grateful to the nurses who took excellent care of my mother when she was dying of breast cancer. And they did it with a smile and gentle demeanor.

  As for your “lying” to the family members- imo, you were helping them to cope in their grief. You took on the burden of knowing the truth of their loved ones suffering and shielding them so that they may heal in their hearts and move on with their lives.

  You’re right but she rode in on the 2008 Democratic straight ticket wave because of all the *hopey, dopey, changey thingie*.

  Trust me, the NC’ers are sick of her (eg passed a tax increase in the dead of night) and are working to vote in a conservative (the Republicans won the majority in the state legislature in 2010 and have passed a number of good measures). She’s considered an idiot by many in the state.
