  • Wow Patty!!! You are one scary nut job. I’m sure I belong in a re-education camp also. Islam is not the problem. Some of the people practicing Islam are the problem. There are plenty of people that use their religion to justify their own crazy view of the world, like Jews, Christians, Muslims, Pagans, ect. It is a problem with people that pick a few words out of a book supposedly written by “God” and use it to absolve them of any responsibility for their actions.

I see people use the word freedom a lot when commenting on the political Blaze stories. Although, whenever there is a religious story people are ready to open re-education camps. Why is that? Do you only believe in freedom for those that agree with you? To the camps for the rest of them!!! Why don’t you go to N. Korea and worship the Dear Leader. There you will have your dreams come true; all that don’t agree with you will be in re-education camps.

  • Agreed…I was offered a job at the TSA. I was unemployeed at the time, but I couldn’t do it.

  • The hate is coming from those believers posting on this site. I’m not telling you what to believe or how to worship. I don’t mind a President saying “God bless”. If I’m speaking to a group of mostly religious, I would say “God bless” also. If they are good people and believe in God I would hope their God, if he existed, would bless them. I‘m so sick of people telling me that I’m a bad person because I don’t believe in God. I see no evidence of him and that voice in my head is my own. I give to charities (even religious charities), hold the door for old women, take care of my family, and have values that most “Christians” would say they have. So stop hating me because I don’t agree with you on one thing. We agree on almost everything else.

Personally, I don’t even discard God or Creator as a possibility. I just feel like God and even the Big Bang theory is an attempt by man to explain something that we lack the facts to definitively explain. Once you can prove to me God exists beyond an old book written by men, you will have another convert.

Also, wouldn’t you guys agree that Liberals corrupt everything? Atheism from the mouth of a Liberal does not represent my view point. I would think you would say the same for Christianity out of the mouth of a Liberal.

  • Come on V-MAN…Let’s not forget what this acrticle is about. It is about community leaders calling for Nike and MJ to reduce the price of a shoe because their community it is has created a public saftey issue. And I quote “These shoes have always had a place of value in Black life,” said Malik Ingram. So, the community they are representing is not white, not Asian, not Arab, and not Hispanic communities. It’s the black community. This issue unlike the Black Friday nonsense can be narrowed down to one group or race as described by the leaders/activists for that race. I just don’t like when something is clearly an issue with a particular group and we are afraid to call out that group even when the leaders admit it.

Payless shoes and Jordans have one thing in common, they cover your feet. I understand that a Honda Civic is hardly comparable in style and luxury to a Porsche, but I don’t try to make the case that I need a Porsche. The Honda Civic gets me from A to B just fine. That is exactly what the Payless shoes would do for these idiots fighting, stealing, and acting a fool for a pair of Jordan’s. It is style and luxury that makes the Porsche more expensive than the Civic. The same goes for the Jordans. Jordans are a luxury item. If you can’t afford the luxury sneakers go to Payless, they will get the job done.

  • It‘s not racist when it’s true. I thought it was worth saying again. Yes the Fed Reserve does cause inflation, but the last time I bought shoes they cost me $35 at Payless. I think you can blame the cost of these particular shoes on the fact that there are people willing to fight over them, willing to get arrested over them and willing to catch an a&b charge over them. I don’t think the Fed Reserve caused a small percentage of, yes, black people to act like animals over a shoe. I‘ve owned a pair of Jordan’s. However, they cost less in the 90‘s and I was young teenager that didn’t really have his priorities straight. Now that I think about it they were probably an out dated issue too. I know my mom would not spend $80 for me to look cool. Furthermore, I had the shoes in the area that Jordan actually played ball and you wanted to be like Mike. What, do a lot of people want to be in Hanes commercials now?

Let’s wait for the Fed Reserve to cause inflation that leads to bread costing $200 before the angry mobs come out.

  • So what is it? Is it ok to make a joke about Christian’s as long as a Muslim joke follows? Is it ok to make a joke about Muslim‘s but not Christian’s? Is it nobody should be allowed to make jokes about any religion? I say stop being so overly sensitive. You would most likely say the same thing if a group of Muslims got all bent out of shape about a comment Mr. Beck made. I certainly don’t care that atheists get bashed on this site all the time. I come back because there is information on this site that you can’t get in other places. Similar to how HBO has programming you can’t find on regular cable. I don’t have a gripe with the religious people on this site. I actually think that religion makes some people better human beings. Religion can also creates psychos willing to blow themselves up based on passages from a book put together 1500+ years ago. Why should I not be able to say what I want without having to worry about some group whining about it? I thought being PC was something the Blaze readers are against. Say what you want. You can say evolution is “clearly disproved 3 times over vain imagining of the stupid kind.” Then I can say “Did your imaginary friend tell you to say that?” Then we can both laugh and have a beer. You wouldn’t do that though would you? You would go looking for my boss saying “He is so offensive. He said that the one and only lord our god is just an imaginary friend. He needs to be fired. Does he not understand how that makes me fe

  • Really! I’m pretty sure Christians and Muslims used the sword for hundreds of years to gain converts. Seriously, did you ever stop to wonder why almost all South American countries are Christian. The difference is that Christians decided to drop the sword and now brainwash people through missionary work. They‘ve found it is easier to feed a man then force your religion down his and his children’s throat rather than killing a man and forcing your religion down the throats of his children.

  • On that note, I also understand that most of the citizens of this country are Christian and our traditions should reflect that fact. You shouldn’t be forced to change those traditions because a small few are offended.
So I say, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone…Ya, I’m not that kind of atheist

  • I have a hard time with some of these posts. I don‘t understand why you feel as if your view of what’s “right” should be shoved down everybody else’s throat. Don’t we complain about the same when Obama and the left try to suppress the expression of religion in schools, for example? It seems most of you only care about freedom when it promotes your view of the world. When somebody does something you don’t agree with, you would join with people prepared to put them in re-education camps. I mean, as a heterosexual male, I get nauseous when I see two men kiss. That doesn‘t mean I get to tell them they can’t do that because it bothers me. It is not encroaching on my rights as an American. Nothing gives me the right to tell them they can’t be who/what they are. Don’t give me the bestiality argument either. An animal cannot be a consenting participant.

For all of you people prepared to respond with quotes from the bible. Isn’t it “God’s” job to do the judging? I didn’t think man got to identify and punish the sinner’s. My understanding of the founders is that they believed in “God”, but didn’t want our laws driven by man’s interpretation of what “God” wants. I thought that was why we had a secular society. If not, why not create “The Church of The U.S.A” and live under the Christian version of sharia law?
