  • This comes as no surprise to those of us in the Secret Service ex wives club. This has been going on since th Reagan years. These guys are away from home for weeks at a time. They are treated like rock stars and it is easy for them to find companions on the road. The drinking is unbelievable. One night my ex was so drunk he ran his car into the concrete median. A cop brought him home. No accident report was even completed so it never happened. Believe me when I say these guys have lived under their own rules for decade they probably do not understand what all the fuss is about

  • My sister has been doing this for years. In her case, they have 2 doctors who accept something like 300-400 patients at $5,000/year each. The doctors will not touch insurance but they will provide you any paperwork you need for insurance. The fee includes personally speaking with a doctor within 20 minutes, access to a nutritionist and no waiting in waiting rooms. Of course, there are other services offered for that fee. When my sister had the flu a couple of weeks ago, the doctor came to her house at 10 p.m. on a Saturday and checked on her and gave her an IV.

This was the first thing I told my husband when Obamacare was passed…as soon as it begins affecting us, we are looking for a similar arrangement in our city.

  • I wonder who they blame when they overdraw their personal checking account?

Do you sometimes feel like we are living in parallel universes? There are days when I’m tempted to say to the libs that they take each coast and we take the middle. Let them have their liberal bastians….we’d be better off without them.

  • I agree but I would also like to ask Glenn and his staff to publish his notes for each night’s broadcast. Even though I watched the show, I still read all of the notes. There is just so much information, it’s nice to have the notes/outline.

  • Agreed. I don‘t think it’s appropriate for Mechelle MaBelle can wear shorts on Air Force One. I was fortunate to have gone to the White House several times during the Reagan years and the dress code was strictly enforced no matter what time of day it was. Ahhhh…the good ol’ days

  • As someone who grew up in Toledo and knew many people who worked at Jeep, the big joke used to be that the workers would form ad hoc teams of 5 guys and that they would rotate one day a week off. The other guys would clock in and cover for the one who took off. One guy laughed about it to my face and said that with the union, he would never be fired. I told him I would never buy another Chrysler again.

All the more reason I will never buy a car made by the UAW. Interesting thing happened last week…the 2011 Audis are now coming in. I spoke to the salesman last Wednesday about a new car that was set to arrive in mid October. He suggested that I “put my name on it” because he had already sold 4 cars that morning…I was the 5th for one salesman in one dealership….

My take–people are fed up with unions, the auto bailouts, etc. They said car sales are down 25% but I would like to break that out by manufacturer/brand….
