“Indivisible” unable to be divided
Thanks
Miss. Judge Jails Attorney for Not Reciting Pledge
October 7, 2010 at 3:43pm
As a Government Service, the Court of Justice is REQUIRED to function thru it’s allegiance to the United States and her Laws. EVERY lawyer that represents a United States Citizen is REQUIRED to be a United States Citizen. Given this, it is NOT unreasonable to expect a Lawyer, Attorney, or Government Official to state the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States while performing a service in front of the Court. To be against the Pledge of Allegiance means to be against the function of the Government; “the Republic for which it (the Flag) Stands” and it’s concept of “One Nation, Under God (non-descript, can be what ever God you Believe in, or don’t), with Liberty and Justice FOR ALL”. If a Lawyer or Attorney does NOT represent or acknowledge these attributes that are REQUIRED in order for our Laws to be Just and Fair, then he/she has NO business representing an American Citizen and should go somewhere else to practice law. A Citizen can refuse to say the Pledge of Allegiance, but if he/she does not believe or follow the precepts the Allegiance spells out, then that person is not fit to be a Citizen of these United States.
“I Pledge Allegiance” – Loyalty, or Obligation of Loyalty
“to the Flag” – The Symbol of the Nation we live
“And to the Republic for which it stands” – The political order in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who are entitled to vote for officers and representatives responsible to them.
“One Nation” – Singular, the omission of any other Nation and Allegiance thereunto.
“Under God” – An Acknowledgement, as our Founders decreed, that there is SOME greater power from which our Rights derive.
“With Liberty” – The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one’s own choosing.
“And Justice” – The upholding of what is just, especially fair treatment and due reward in accordance with honor, standards, or law.
“For All” – Everything that was just stated, applying to every citizen regardless of race, gender, affliction.
If the Lawyer does not believe these things, he should leave this Country. If he cannot say these things, he is a Coward.
Union Boss: Businesses Want to ‘Scrape Every Ounce of Flesh From our Hides’
September 14, 2010 at 3:24pm
AS a Conservative Union Member, I HAVE to agree with your assessment. I firmly believe their should be a UNION between an Employer and it’s Employees. A properly run Company forms this Union with out a “Third Party Activist in the way” I agree that in situations where Employees are being mis-treated or abused that their should be intervention.
I would have to say, lest I be corrected, that the Majority of Conservatives feel as I do, that NO union should become larger than the one’s they purport to represent or work with. In My case, our Union has enveloped so many other organizations that they no longer listen to what we want them to do on our behalf, they simply ignore us, and tell us it’s the best they can do. Unions themselves have become the Corrupt Corporations they purport to defend us against….. unlike the Companies we work for, the Unions keep growing…… unbalancing the equation.

Federal Appeals Court Blocks PA Town’s Immigration Law
September 9, 2010 at 1:56pm
Instead of telling us that “states can’t undermine the Federal Government”, he should be forced to explain HOW the Law Undermines the Federal Government, and HOW this Undermining is Un-Constitutional. Otherwise, he should just shut-up and retire….. I get sick and tired of these Judges Bastardizing the Legal Process, and Interpreting the law based on Case Law instead of Constitutional Law.

Security Risks with Cell Phone Software application programming….. Ooooooh, Ol’ Rupert is giving Korea quite the support…. I mean, seriously, Men and Black and the Big Lebowski …… Those New Mobile Phone games would just bring N. Korea Tens of Dollars in income!! Of course, this is N. Korea…. That’s probably alot of money!!

12 U.S. Soldiers Charged in Afghan Civilian Murders
September 9, 2010 at 12:59pm
Funny, in a not so much kinda way. The rest of the world hates us, NOT because we have a couple of VERY BAD, ignorant and disgusting apples, but because we DETEST the evil that such people do. WE, here in the U.S., FIGHT to bring this sort of EVIL to light, to bring Justice to those that were wronged. We admit we aren’t and have never been perfect…. we admit we’ve made mistakes, and we KNOW we WILL do better. THAT IS WHY MANY IN THE WORLD HATE US. Not because of what we do, but because they KNOW THEY are even MORE GUILTY of MUCH WORSE crimes than we are, and THEY ARE NEVER going to admit it. Iran Kills 1,000′s, it’s another day at work, the U.S. kills 1, and it’s the World Holocost. Difference between U.S. and the World? We KNOW and BELIEVE that that doesn’t excuse us.
OECD: Delayed Spending Cuts and More Stimulus Money May Be Needed
September 9, 2010 at 12:40pm
Until people’s hearts change, and the individual stops thinking about NOW at the EXPENSE of tomarrow, nothing will change. This ties into Glenn’s 8-28 message…. when we get our Values and Principles right, everything else will follow suit.
Librarian Suit: Computer Porn Use Lead to Groping While Children Present
September 9, 2010 at 12:02pm
This is why GOVERNMENT should NOT be running Libraries. At least a privately run Library can tell these Human Bottom Feeders (who feel the government should be providing free Porn) to go somewhere else. Furthermore, this is another example of Judical Lack-of-Restraint. Viewing Porn is NOT Freedom of Speech, and keeping anyone from accessing material of ANY SORT on a Library Computer (when there are other avenues one can access to obtain Internet Access) is NOT infringing your Rights.
