  • No zombies, Taquoshi? Aw, bummer! Zombies are so cool, though! Lol!

  • I’ve noticed a common thread with most atheists: ignorance and arrogance. Now if you‘re an atheist and you’re thinking of letting me have it for that, hear me out a moment…

Atheists love to gloat that they’re open minded, and that they’re the only ones who seem to ask questions. Neither could be further from the truth; they almost always start by insulting faith. And don‘t think people with faith don’t ask questions and have moments of doubt. The difference is, we don’t ignore or dismiss the answers when the are presented to us.

The arrogance lies with atheists actually believing that they somehow know something the vast majority of the planet does not; that they are somehow wiser and more enlightened than billions of people the world over. For ages people have not only had faith in a higher power, but often come to that conclusion independently and without influence. Scholars and laymen alike. I am very analytical and scientific/fact driven. I asked many questions in my youth, neither believing nor disbelieving until evidence swayed me on way or another. Overwhelming evidence led me to have faith in God, independent of religeous influence.

I’ve heard it said best by a soldier, who said he’s “been there, done that”, and in the thick of battle, when push comes to shove and the bullets are flying, he’s seen men of no faith pray God, but never a man of faith renounce God.

Everyone knows the truth in their heart. Don’t ignore it, embrace it.

  • I’m often amazed at how close-minded even conservatives can be. I’m about as conservative as you can get, but you have to be open minded, people. You’re offended because you know her background. She was doing something good for the children, and the kids have no idea who she is. Why don’t you be appreciative for the acts of good that happen in the world and denounce the acts of evil instead? Perspective can go a long way.
