  What possible union can light have with darkness? For Christians, the Word of God must take precedence over every other consideration. I just do not understand how Black pastors and congregants can so thoroughly compromise their faith and continue to support this Marxist president who clearly is not a Christian, is lawless and a deceiver, who supports policies that are anti-biblical and oppressive, and who encourages hatred and fear.

  After reading the comments here, I am beginning to wonder who is more emotionally ill – the TSA agent who groped him or the people who have no sympathy for Geraldo. I do not agree with G’s politics, but I would never wish him (or any other human being) feel like he was being raped. It is a very degrading and dehumanizing experience.

  First of all, let’s separate church attendance from commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior. All over the world, 100′s of thousands of young people are coming to Jesus Christ through social media, the internet, and radio and TV broadcasts. They are hearing about Jesus for the first time through showings of the JESUS film and are finding the one true God. Young people are coming out of Islam and atheism in droves, which is causing a panic in countries such as Iran and China. And these aren’t squishy Christians; these are people who are willing to lay down their lives because they have found their heart’s desire.

  The United States is actually out of step with the rest of the globe as we seek to water down the Gospel or change Scripture in order to be politically correct. Where Christian leaders stand firm on the biblical absolutes, HUGE numbers of people are coming to Christ, especially in countries where Christians are killed for their faith.

  Your information needs to be updated. I recommend you read historian David Barton’s new book about the lies concerning Jefferson. Also, read Barton’s book about the separation of church and state issue.

  Most of the founding fathers (if not all) advocated the study of the Bible in all American schools for moral and spiritual training. To cite other examples, President Jefferson printed Bibles and supported missionaries to the Indians using taxpayer money, and government buildings were used for worship services.

  The underlying thing that Freedom from Religion protests – namely, the interjection of religious beliefs into government policy – is the very thing they themselves advocate as they zealously impose their secular humanism on everyone. This case isn’t about a monument; it is clearly about control of religious expression. They are tyrants and should be thwarted.
