  • Even though I’m fully aware of the pervasive idiocy that defines public education in America today, I’m still shocked every time I see a story like this and hear audio proof that many teachers are not only unfit and unqualified to teach our children, but are an absolute danger and a bigger threat to Americas future than anything that is going on in the middle east. Kids are getting advanced degrees when they can’t even pass an elementary civics test.

Americas house is not in order. We have cretins trying to indoctrinate our children from Kindergarten through grad school. We have criminal politicians whose sole interest is re-election and increased power. No branch of our government has honesty or integrity. The media is either the most evil or the most ignorant of all because they shape the entire narrative with their agenda of atheistic, socialistic, immoral, far-left “progressivism”. We have a private cartel with the misleading title of Federal Reserve de-stabilizing our monetary system and killing our economy. Political correctness has turned the average person into a spineless jellyfish because if he offends anyone it could cost him his livelihood, and nearly everyone seems to be very easily offended and looking for someone to sue.

We have let this happen gradually and now it seems that there is no realistic solution. Both Romney and Obama, as well as about 90% of those seeking federal, state, and local office are just more of the same.

  • Beautiful post P8triot. You and I may not see eye to eye on some political issues but I’m right with you on this.

  • cmonnow,

I disagree with your assessment that the right to bear arms is not a human right. The most basic natural right that God gave us is the right to our life. The right to defend and preserve our own lives is implicit in the natural right to life. The Founding Fathers understood that and considered the Second Amendment a natural and inalienable right.
Jefferson wrote “No man has a natural right to commit aggression on the equal rights of another; and this is ALL (emphasis mine) from which the laws ought to refrain him”.

  • Time_2,

Since we both know that you are lying, there must be a reason that you feel the need to constantly spread these lies about Ron Paul as well as Paul’s supporters. For example, if some apolitical, uninformed outsider were to listen to you, he would get the impression that 90% of Ron Paul’s supporters are drug-abusing, racist, anti-Semite, hedonistic leftists, when in fact the vast majority of Ron Paul’s supporters are much more similar to me. I have never used any illegal drugs (in fact I’ve never even drank alcohol or smoked anything in my life), I am a conservative Christian, I’ve been faithfully married to the same woman for 26 years. I’m not a racist or an anti-Semite, and I’ve voted for Republicans for 30 years. I, and the vast majority of Paul supporters, admire him for his honesty, his humility, and his unwavering commitment to the Constitution, individual liberty, responsibility, and honest fiscal policy and his consideration of Christian Just War Doctrine (as well as the Constitution) regarding war.
So…..What is your real reason for blatantly lying about Paul and his supporters? Where does the hate come from? Don’t deny hating. Your near-obsessive posts make it clear that you hate Paul and those who support him.
Are you a nanny-stater? Do you enjoy war? Do you think that our government is operating as it should? Why don’t you give the honest reason for your fear and hate?

  • A Thomas Jefferson quote that comes into play constantly when debating nanny-staters from both parties.

  • MRSUPERPAT,

Very well said!!! I can relate to every word you wrote. In fact, if I were a better writer, I may have written the exact same post.

  • Immormon,

Sorry about the typo on your user name.

  • Immomon,

I challenge you to post authentic instances of Ron Paul flip-flopping on any issue. He has been, for 30 years, the most consistent politician – strike that- the most consistent human being I have ever seen. I’ll wait patiently for your examples. Please don’t make stuff up like some others, who (mistakenly) think it’s time to end the Paul campaign, always do.

I will give you help on what some may consider a flip-flop. but what really was a well thought out change of position for legitimate reasons. See here.

I can’t think of any other inconsistency. Good luck.

  • Willie,

How can you honestly say that you want “more freedom and more constitution”, and then support a candidate who trashes freedom and the Constitution with intrusions like the Patriot Act, NDAA, TARP, bailouts, weapons bans, government health care, etc. etc. etc…. You are either incredibly disingenuous or completely ignorant. You can’t possibly want “more freedom and more constitution” and still vote with a clear conscience for either Romney or his running mate Obama.

Save the “a vote for Paul equals a vote for Obama” nonsense. That kind of childish reverse psychology may work on simpletons and children, but it is not me who is voting wrong, it’s you. Especially if you really do want “more freedom and more constitution”.

  • With a user name like Big45Kimber you would think he would endorse the ONLY candidate who was graded A+ by Gun Owners of America (that is Ron Paul), rather than the self-described progressive with a history of supporting oppressive gun laws (that is Mitt Romney). I guess his Second Amendment rights aren’t that important to him.
