  oh come on oprah needs everyone to love her…she could do nothing but a fluff piece or she would have gotten butchered. I don‘t agree with oprah’s politics, but I love her as a person. I think she has a big heart.

  He should not be misquoted…I agree and as for all of you making comments about he was nothing-give me a break. I’m sure we have revised some parts of his history becasue we do it for everything else, but he was a good man with legitimate issues to protest who made a difference.

  What has happened to the black community since MLK is a shame and he is probably rolling over in his grave.

  I’m reading a lot “UN” Christianly thinking and we wonder why people are turned off by religion and attending church..who would want to hang around a bunch of holier than thous that act as if they know everything and that their sins count less than someone else’s because you have decided it is so to justify your sins..let me tell ya Jesus would not approve. Christianity is love. Money and managing money is in the Bible.

  Joel Osteen does a lot for the poor and needy along with his congregation. I live in Houston..I don’t attend his church because I prefer a smaller one.

  The same people that bash Joel Osteen for making money would slam a commuist activist who says the exact things you have said against capitalism..only wait a man of the cloth cannot make money. So now even we on the Blaze are picking who can make money….we’re in freaking trouble.

  I think he is right. God doesn’t categorize sin. Does he judge homosexuality any differently than adultery or coveting what your neighbor has.

  I went to an outdoor mall in Texas the day they were released and I thought there was an entire school on a field trip. but the only thing that was odd was there was not one white kid in a dominantly white neighborhood. All of the kids were very respectful, but what I was amazed at is the shoe wasn’t coming out until the next day. Soooo I guess parents let them sleep out on the sidewalk until the next day? These kids were not old enough to do that.

  The mall/police basically said no way and forced the store to do a lottery based on the inventory and gave kids their winning ticket to go home and pick them up the next day.

  i find this very disturbing on many levels. maybe it was my toe tapping to the music…i am not a liberal bleeding heart but we are getting more and more crass enjoying the destruction of life like this. it’s very sad world we live in…i used to wish for utopia where we all got along now that I am older I know it probably will never happen.

  People of the Blaze..can we just ignore and report posts from the likes of EcoHawk. They are obviously plants and have no real worth while comments except to piss everyone off so justignore them. We all know what is true. Michele Bachmann’s reaction said it all she just looked at him then at her incredulously like why on earth…nuff said. poor kid. did you have your kid to love or to simply SHOW the world that a lesbian can raise a kid? The latter I suspect from your actions-you coward!
