They will not be able to keep control if someone takes a shot an Beck, Palin, Bachmann or Limbaugh… Nearly in that order… Though Limbaugh is debatable… We lose the whole country if that happens… Beck says he has at least 15 credible threats against him at any given time… Wonder what Palin’s is? I pray that this never happens. I also pray that should it we can keep our pledge of non-violance.

Why do they assume that if one wanted to shoot someone they would think about this law and change their mind. All this does is ensure that everyone else within 1000 feet is also unarmed. So the odds are good they can get away with it!! Look at the crime rates in DC and MD. Gun free zones simply tell the bad guys with the willingness to break the law where to go and NOT GET SHOT! Check the crime rates in TX vs MD and even with the population and size difference I would bet TX is lower.
