Psalm 11:5, “The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates.”
Lev. 20:23, “Moreover, you shall not follow the customs of the nation which I shall drive out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I have abhorred them.”
Prov. 6:16-19, “There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, 19 A false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers.”
Hosea 9:15, “All their evil is at Gilgal; indeed, I came to hate them there! Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of My house! I will love them no more; All their princes are rebels.”

  • Sad to see how liberals teaching about the Bible are the ones that despise God and His Word. Duke University’s founders must be rolling in their graves since it was founded on something so different than what it has become today. Atheists have no concept of what the Bible really teaches anyways. They cannot understand Whom they do not know. They need the Holy Spirit for discernment and the forgiveness and love that Jesus gives. Why shouldn’t atheists be scared and repentant of the eternal damnation that our sin condemns us to?

  • @VoteBushin12, they pose for pictures of animals who blew themselves up trying to kill unarmed men, women, and children; and then you talk about “inhumane” treatment? I think you‘re missing the fact that they’re not human. Get YOUR priorities straight. It’s funny for someone to preach about dignity and proper treatment in war. It obviously shows that you’ve never been in combat. There’s nothing dignifying about what our guys have to go through, but guess what? Our brave guys do it for us! OEF ‘08-’09.

  • Public sin will be dealt with publicly (within the church). The Bible gives guidelines for church elders and it would be foolish to say that leaders at a Christian school shouldn’t be held to moral standards. Forgiveness is one thing, but there are repercussions to our sinful actions.

  • UNC is a pit of filth. I know that there is liberalism and liberals in all universities, but UNC has a much higher count. Yet another reason I’m proud to cheer on the Wolfpack!

Romans 3:10 “as it is written, ‘THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE.’”

  • You’d think that if he could read, he would understand what the Constitution says about gun control.

  • Forward the Big Red One! For those of you, vets or non-vets, who are saying “bring these men home”, how quickly you forgot about the pure hatred that was shown against the U.S. throughout the years 9/11 and prior. As a recent veteran of Afghanistan, I can understand the disagreement about nation building. However, I’m disgusted at your ignorance of how much Muslims hate the U.S. I am still a strong believer that if we don’t fight them over there, we will certainly be fighting them over here even more! We definitely don’t need to cut defense spending (that‘s the govt’s primary job) and you have to remember that this is an all volunteer military. Almost all of these guys believe in the mission. Don’t diminish our efforts by saying, “Bring them all home now!” Thank God for this brave man and his family. DUTY FIRST!!!

  • Glocks are good, but I love both my H&Ks (UPS .45 and P30). Glocks just don’t fit my hand nicely, but given the choice between a Glock and an M&P – I would definitely choose a Glock! For a carry gun, I choose my Kahr PM9. It simply can’t be beat as a small 9mm.
