  Seriously? Since they didn’t spell it out, heres the “danger”…

  Insulated thermos bottles have a glass or steel interior liner… and vacuum space or foam separates the interior from the outside walls. That space is not visually inspect-able, and if filled with a low density explosive, you would not see it easily on X-Ray.

  I got no problem with them inspecting potential items that could house explosives… What I DO HAVE A MAJOR problem with is stupid pieholes who…. “SPEAKING ON A CONDITION OF ANONYMITY”: (Because he not authorized to speak….)

  Don’t they *govn’t* wonder why Americans have a trust deficit with them? Not only are they perusing a path that 80% of Americans don’t agree with, they CAN”T EVEN KEEP THEIR MOUTH SHUT to the media!!!!

  So now somewhere in Paka-hudu-desmo-crackistan a little muslim bomb make is figuring out how to pack his explosive into the tubes of strollers and wheelchairs… IT NEVER ENDS when all we do is play defense and CATER to their wishes and placate what they are offended by!

  Speaking truth, keep it up… My family has run an airport FBO for 3 generations. The gate on the other side of the runway is open during the day and gets you to the exact same taxi and runways that all commercial flights go on. It would take 25 seconds for a terrorist to drive a SEMI truck full of explosives to the line of 737′s waiting to take off… or about 1 min to get to the “secure” boarding area of the terminal. It’s a damn joke what they are trying to convince us of…

  The choice of TSA to scare travelers into allowing mega $$$ to be spent on a false sense of security is nothing more than a slow desensitization to freedom smashing searches. If the point of blowing up a plane is to scare Americans from flying, thus hurting our economy; and that is called terrorism… Then isn’t the plan TSA has implemented also caused the same result? Just sayin’….

I Fly a C185 for fun and all some terrorist POS has to do is hop in a private plane, take off and then Kamikazi the line of planes waiting to take off! I am so sick of this WHAT IF crap!   He passes ONE car while accelerating… Do what you do, and if you get caught, man up and take the punishment. He did exactly that. I say he is actually a pretty damn good example of integrity… Cops ask him if he did it, he mans up and speaks the truth!

  Dumb ass driver filmed this clip on the John Kilpactrick Turnpike, West bound. There are 2 overpasses that he goes under just after entering the highway. These are Highland Park Blvd and N Mary Ave respectively. The overpasses are 2,596 ft apart and he covers that distance in 10.18 seconds. That makes his AVERAGE speed over this ~1/2 mile to be 255 FPS or 173.86 MPH.

  He’s accelerating the entire distance between these overpasses….If average is 174 mph, the top was obviously higher. 195 mph is totally doable with 1000 bhp and those sleek American muscle lines. I think the new Viper Venom 1000 does 255 mph on 1000 bhp.

  Still stupid to do on the turnpike….

  He DID take it to 195! I’m a geek, and using the videos geographic landmarks found the section of highway where this occurred. Then I did the calculations… Here’s the Skinny.

  This was filmed on the John Kilpactrick Turnpike, West bound. There are 2 overpasses that he goes under just after entering the highway. These are Highland Park Blvd and N Mary Ave respectively. The overpasses are 2,596 ft apart and he covers that distance in 10.18 seconds. That makes his AVERAGE speed over this ~1/2 mile to be 255 FPS or 173.86 MPH.

  He’s accelerating the entire distance between these overpasses…. For the average to be a confirmed 174 mph, using his claimed top speed of 195, he passes the first bridge at around 150 MPH… I say myth confirmed, he hits 195 just as the second overpass is reached (then he rapidly slows down.)
