  I’m beginnining to think that the installation of those wheelchair lifts has nothing to do with helping the disabled but is simply an excuse to exercise power and to justify their employment. Sometimes normal people who are given a little power force others to do ridiculous things.

  God created us in His image. Male and Female. In joining together in marriage, God’s ideal is that we reflect His image, returning joy to Him. Just as when we create something and it reflects some part of our character, that object gives us joy. Homosexuality violates heavenly law and is doomed for it cannot fulfill this purpose the Creator has given us. It doesn’t matter how WE define marriage. You ask, whom does it hurt? Ironically, the ones it will harm the most are those who engage in this lifestyle. They don’t understand the spiritual damage they cause themselves. Yet there is always hope. Just because one denies God’s love and truth, even existence, doesn’t mean that He is not pursuing you, His unique and precious child, seeking to embrace His lost love.

  I took my younger sister on a ride that looked similar. Although there was no danger of falling out, the ride forced the riders outward because it was spinning so fast. It was a bench seat, not individual seats, and my sister was in the outer seat. As the ride began to spin, my body was pushed against hers with so much force that it was very painful for her. And it was extremely difficult for me to keep myself off of her or to get the operator’s attention. Just know what you’re getting your child into. Kids don’t know what to expect; their complete trust is in you.
