  • If he is the man most likely to beat Obama then by all means. I tend to think Mitt would be better candidate when it comes to pulling in the center in a national election against Obama and we need to WIN this next election, and then means getting the candidate who can appeal to the most people, not just conservatives.

I do think Cain is highly intelligent and would be able to hold his own, though. He did great in his interview with weasel Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC. Speaking of O‘Donnels’ the last candidate we need is a Christine O’Donell – My point being I don‘t agree with Michelle Bauchman’s theory that “any conservative can beat Obama this year,” That was what we learned in the mid-terms, you can’t count on the left losing the next election – we have to WIN it.

  • This wasn’t planned – its a sports show and Tracy Morgan is an idiot. he thought he was talking “to the guys.”

So – Sarah Palin is hot, it is compliment. Even Tracy Cho (an ultra-lib comedienne) said she wanted to hate-f*** her in a special on HBO. This is not new. This is the left’s way of actually trying to say she is good looking, but stupid.

But it does bring up the question of where Sarah would be without her looks. I personally don’t she is presidential material, either, and I am sure most people know she is a losing proposition as a candidate – at least right now. She is a TV hostess who is more watched on TLC than on Fox News.

It’s too bad for Sarah – if she really has Preseidential aspirations, that she hasn’t figured out you can just adlib your way through life and be a politician. You have to gain the respect of thinking people who expect leadership.

I like Sarah Palin just fine, I could have lived with her a VEEP, but she isn’t any Ronald Reagan.

  • It is amazing what passes for comedy on network TV these days…

Or entertainment for that matter. I actually used to like Dave in the early days, but now he is just a self-absorbed old fart who thinks his opinion is more important because he is on TV. He is pathetic and I don’t say that just because someone is liberal.

  • Yes – Zakaraia startes Peter Bergen’s number tha .01% are terrorrists. Now, I usually dislike Zakaria a great deal, but in the case I have to say I think he is closer than Beck. Zak was using expert Peter bergen’s number and Bergen has been studying Muslim Terrorism longer than any American journalist. The man knows what he is saying.

So – instead of 157,000,000 terrorists, Gelnn, we have 157,000. Hell – THAT IS ONE HELL OF A LOT OF TERRORISTS. And that is the number of REAL terrorists, the ones making bombs in their basements right now. Add in the sympathetic ones and yes, I agree the number is close to 10% of all Muslims, probably higher.

Glenn – the point is that you do get a bit sloppy, I am sorry to say. I love and appreciate what you do for America – but you have to be a little more clear in what you say. You had a great point, but every reporter/newsman/commentator knows the cardinal rule is NEVER make up a figure. Go to the experts – like Peter Bergen.

So, we have 157,000 people making bombs right now – why isnt the media reporting that. We also probably have way maore than 10% of the Muslim population (probably more like..__ , well never mind) supporting them. Why isn’t the media reporting that?

    OF COURSE….

The left has been getting about 100-times more mileage out of Sarah Palin than the right since the election. We all pretty much stoppped caring about her after the election – but the left just keeps picking on her as if she is a whoopie cushion (the perfect fodder for hack comedians).

Hey – Democratic candidate Al Green is out of a job, too, but we could continue to talk about him for the next six years just to make sure everyone knows what a joke the Democrats can be.

Seriously – the hashing of Sarah Palin by the left is just pathetic. She is an honorable public figure who cares strongly about faith and family – so that makes her a joke to the left. Some day they will realize how wrong they were to pick on an honorable woman.

  • I hate to say this but I agree that the right is totally blowing this out of proportion. I travel regularly, to U.K. in September, to Germany to October, To Los Angeles in November and to Miami last week.

The ONLY place where I was patted down was in Dusseldorf, and it was a thorough patting.

I know there must be some “over the top” TSA officers out there in the U.S., but I have never met one myself and my passport is nearly full of timestamps.

The vast majority of these people are law-abiding, honest people trying their best to relate to the American public who pays their salaries. I am CONSERVATIVE and I am all for security.

I disagree with Ed Schultz that we are racist, blah blah. But it DOES appear to me the “strong American security-living” right is on the wrong side in this fight. And I have to admit he nailed us this time. He is an idiot, but he isn’t stupid.

It is hypocritical to pick fights just because it is politically convenient. If we really want to win hearts and minds AND FREAKING ELECTIONS (people) then the way to do it is to be on the right side of the issue even if it means we agree with the left.

I am vastly disappointed in Hannity and the rest that they would pick on the TSA just to see if they make more poltical hay against the current administration. I hate Napolitano as much as anyone – but while you are falling for this SMOKESCREEN Harry Reid is going to pass the DREAM ACT. Focus on the real issues, this one is B.S.

WAKE UP FOLKS and pick your battles. We have to tell out spokespeople what we think, and not just be lemmings agreeing with everything Hannity and Limbaugh say.

  • It is the ECONOMY stupid. The only reason why we can beat Obama this coming election is his dismal economic failure.

Palin is a “values” candidate, pro-family, God, etc. but she has no demonstrated mastery of budgets or fiscal conservatism. She is despised by women’s rights, gays, gun-control people, “choice” advocates – in other words, a lot of issues important to independents. You might as well nominate Christine O’Donnell.

THAT is not the ticket for winning this coming election. WE need a strong financial, budget-minded candidate like Christie who is not polarizing on the values issues.

I want to win the next election, not make a point.
I like Sarah Palin, but picking her to run for President of this country would be a stupidest move the right could make. If she is nominated, I would leave. I am only hear because of the fiscal conservatism anyway.

People want jobs. The best republican platform is smaller government. Leave gov’t out of personal lives and leave personal lives out of government. I welcome everyone in the party as long as they are for fiscal conservatism.

  • The main thing is that this shows just how leftist Soros is – if Barack Obama is not good enough for him – who is? Stalin, Marx, Lenin or Engels perhaps?

  • I guess some people actually think Sarah Palin could be President, but I can tell you she will never win that election – she is widely disliked and obviously not respected by anyone except ardent conservative ideologues who like her ideas but overlook her inability to articulate.

I really hope she does not try to run and especially that she is never nominated. She is better being a spokesperson for conservative women, but she is not ready to be leader of all Americans. She is no Maggie Thatcher.

She would be the right-wing version of Obama, pure ideologue and no competence; and we would all have buyer’s remorse very quickly.

  • Olbermann is the perfect example of “putting on the show” to take your eyes off the ball. So, Glenn is using puppets? What does that have to do with the point he is making about George Soros?

Address the principles in Beck’s shows – not the stage direction. You’re such an amateur, Keith.
