  I used to edit news stories. There is no way this was “not a purposeful act”. The text of the 911 transcript shown also did not indicate that it was edited. You would have to indicate with ellipses that there was an omission of the text in order to be accurate. There are too many eyes that the story would have to be seen by at that level before it gets approved for air. There should be more butts out the door. “Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story” is apparently the motto at NBC News and MSNBC these days.

  Come to church this Sunday. We’d love to have you and explain how grace and mercy work. Zig Ziglar used to say that “if a hypocrite is what’s standing between you and God it just means the hypocrite is closer to God than you are.”

  This is just another reason that news organizations need to be moved to somewhere in the middle of America and not in New York City. They don’t “get it” or understand 90% of America.
