  Is it possible to consider that Newt’s adultery is something he has repented? Is it possible that Newt seems to be a bully because he has been through the fire and finds it easy to call out the cheap shots? Is it possible that hypothesis about Newt’s political ideas are misguided. Isn’t there a record of conservative accomplishment? As far as Romney, I can’t buy that White Horse. Santorum is fine with me, but his faith based talking points will get him clobbered. Obama’s 2008 election proved that the USA is not a Christian nation. Or, I should say not enough discerning Christians (Bereans).

  Hard to believe from the comments that anyone has an understanding of what forgiveness means. What if Newt really has changed his perceptions regarding his faith and how to live it. Seems most people buy into Glenn‘s hypothesis of Newt’s stance on the issues. Sorry, listening to Romney I see another McCain facing Obama. I’m not going to buy that White Horse. There are some issues with Newt that I don’t appreciate. But, he is definitely the one to articulate conservative principles the best of all the candidates. Whether you like it or not, Newt does have a record of producing results on conservative issues. I think Newt is the best chance to make Obama look like more of an idiot, I don’t believe he will be afraid to look nasty to Obama. Just the facts, ma’am.
  My favorite candidates were all run out on innuendo and bad press from the beginning. I’m glad we still have something of a choice, there is definitely a wide range of personalities represented among our candidates. By the way, I don’t think it matters who the GOP candidate is. If the GOP looks like they may take it (regardless of candidate) a third party will come out to destroy their chances. Not to mention the amount of fraud that will take place to ensure an Obama victory.
  Besides, the people offended by evangelicals and Bible Belt choosing Newt, you need to understand that the USA is no longer a Christian nation. The only thing Obama has gotten right this term.

  People, have you noticed the string of radio stations dropping Beck? There is more to this than ratings. Ratings decline is a lie, I believe. The chalkboards and videos on the Fox News program are impossible to combat. He must be removed. I read a number of ‘christian’ activists are behind the moves of air time and removal of his program on the radio. Would be nice for Glenn to comment on this, I don’t get to hear his program in my city anymore.

  The chalkboards are what got him removed. I believe the ratings are lies. He is being moved off radio stations all together or to a time in the middle of the night. This is not simply a ‘ratings’ problem for Fox or Glenn. I see a concerted effort by broadcasters to hurt Glenn. I like listening to Glenn and the revealations of his chalkboards. It is in black and white. That is what broadcasters don’t want out there. Someone will eventually be asked to account for not reporting onn a lot of this.
