  • Link will not work for me :(

  • This is NOTHING new. 20 years ago I took a Human Sexuality course at Golden West JR College and the first day in the class on a huge projector screen was what can best be described as bad 70′s porn. THIS was in Orange County ( the most conservative county in CA) Living in CA is like living in another country. No morals and very little self restraint. Best thing EVER did was move to Texas.

  • I understand this completely. . . it is something my husband has said. I think it is just the way some people deal with the event. How many have sat here and thought ” box cutters? why did they not over power them? ” As tragic as everything is in the end it has made every single one of us think about what we would do.

  • Works fine on my ROKU. . . LOVE LOVE LOVE my ROKU. . . canceled my cable

  • I am wondering why it took them 8 years to figure it out. . .

  • This is not new. . .they have been doing this since the 80′s. . . .

  • just reminds of ” playing church. . . “

  • Nothing like watching some one sell there soul to the devil . ..

  • AGAIN: Puppy mills are licensed and regulated by the US GOVERNMENT. If you want to make a difference DONATE LOCALLY ( not to national charities) Rescue from your local shelter or Local breed rescue. IF you decide to get a pure bred dog from a breeder DO YOUR RESEARCH! Go to the national club and READ what breeders are supposed to do. Be aware of your local laws.

These dogs were research animals. . .not “puppy mill” puppies.

  • People need to know a little history on this. . .FIRST OFF before all the animal rights people get all up in arms. . .NO I am not for animal experimentation THOUGH there is need from time to time to have research involving animals.
These were animals bred and raised for experimentation. Often entire LINES of animals are dedicated to producing certain problems in order to further research ( mice lines that get diabetes is one I can think of) SO though for many the first thought is POOR BEAGLES my first thought was POOR OWNERS.

Another WONDERFUL thing to consider and learn a little about: The USDA animal breeding program was STARTED by the government to employ people to breed for these purposes. This is where puppy mills originate from. They were meant to breed certain breeds ( beagles being one of them) to meet the need of animal testing. When animal testing went on a decline the people that have raised these animals now need a new way to sell there product. The USDA facilities did not have to socialize or do anything other then get them to the 12 week age and then they were sold in batches to industry. . . the raising techniques did not change when the industry did. As every new “fad” breed cam along more and more were added to the mill in order to make a living. NOW: though you can condone the practice but also look a little different when these animals are “saved” and think about the problems inherited from a government machine.
