  Point Park College (Downtown Pittsburgh) received a bomb threat today, second one threat for Point Park College.

  Yes, mid-February they were evicted. They went peacefully but said they would be in the streets, in the newsletter they were printing, and making their statements to the public.

  That is too easy – they are using an “anonymous email host” its bouncing around all over the place so it is harder to find where the email originate. This has been going on since mid-February. My money is on Occupy.

  I just read Jada’s essay, and I was not offended at all. Jada was writing it in the same way she had read the Frederick Douglass autobiography – so that is why she is using the “white teachers” the point that she is making is that our children are being taught only what the Department of Education and the leaders in the teachers unions what to be taught. Look at the way math was taught in the 60s and 70s and then look at the way math is taught now – the students are taught a new concept every day AND what the heck is this “friendly numbers” and “rounding up/estimating” method. Our students need to be taught the basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division methods and master those methods first and foremost. How many of us have been at a store, your cashier doesn’t enter the correct amount received and then they pull out their cell phone to use the calculator to see how much change to give you? What happened to teaching kids to count back your change?

  Is there a way to read Jada’s essay? I would love to read what she had to say! I watched this interview yesterday and all I could think of is that I would love to meet both Jada and her mom! Jada is a sweet and mannerly young girl and I have to say how much I respect her mother for raising her daughter so well in a society like this! I would love to become friends with both Jada and her mom and I would like to have my daughter and my son meet this wonderful young girl and her mother! It is wonderful to know that even students can see that they are NOT receiving the proper foundation of education! This article needs to be spread to everyone in this country and especially to our students!

  I am having trouble with Glenn’s radio and live programs – they will just freeze or kick me off all together! But I will continue, in stubborn fashion like you, to watch it even if I have to go in and watch the same show six times so that I can see the entire show! The shows from last week are worth watching at least ten times in order to take in all the information that Glenn has laid out for us!! I am praying for Glenn and all that are surrounding him (family, friends, employees, volunteers, neighbors, etc.) God Bless everyone here too!

  Would you people please stop harping on Glenn supporting Santorum, Cain, Christie, etc. He said he liked these people for certain things/policies! Glenn DOES NOT support any one right now, he is getting the information at the same time we hear it on his shows most of the time! The ONLY one Glenn said he would VOTE FOR at any time was Michelle Bachman. He has continuously said he does not know if Santorum is someone he can vote for — he does not have all the information he needs right now. Can’t you all do your own homework on each and every candidate, instead of waiting for Glenn to tell you who is “safe” to vote for?
