  They changed the meaning early on in this process. Liberal, in the classical sense, was to be ‘free to’. They have changed liberal to be ‘free from’.

  He still thinks Liberal means free to and not free from. There are a lot of democrats that would be on our side if they really understood the language.

  @ Director: You sound like the only sane person on this thread. I don’t know how any of you Christians can have such contempt for children. So the gay couple had IVF, good for them. I’m not in favor of gay marriage, but I figure live and let live. I don’t want them to tell me what to do in my personal life and so I give them the same courtesy.

  As far as the clinic goes, this is a serious error on their part. What if the sperm that was put into the woman was from her father or brother? There is a huge potential liability and the clinic should be rightfully sued for this oversight.

  As a conservative I value choice and property rights. The couple didn‘t have to give the ball to the kid if they didn’t want to. They SHOULDNT have given it to him just because he was crying. If they wanted to give him the ball and feel good for doing charity great, but I’m not going to vilify them not doing it it.

  BTW for all of you making comments about parenting skills. I’m a father. My son‘s young and constantly trying to grab things he can’t have or shouldn’t have. Telling your kid no and to stop crying isn’t the best moements of being a parent but they are important to have a well mannered and disciplined kid. His envy of thier possession is not a valid reason to demand the ball. He does look spoiled and he should get over it.

  The parents in this clip look fine. They don’t act snarky, just try to deal with the crying child.

  Keep in mind Rove wants the Republicans to win. These polls just indicate the amount of work the Tea Party will have to do before November. If we cant bring our libertarians back into the party and can’t get enthusiastic about this luke warm candidate then we are toast. BTW – we also need that grass roots effort to hold our politicians accountable. If the Tea Party can‘t prove that it’s ideals determine the course of elections it will be ignored by the republican party.

  What exactly falls under this budget? Does air travel for DOE personnel fall under this? Government gets the most expensive air tickets you can imagine. Do reimbursements for employees fall in this category when they use their personal vehicle for government buisness? Or is the budget merely maintenance and fuel of the vehicles? Does it cover replacement costs for new vehicles in the fleet?

  I didn’t believe it at first but now I think it might be true. If so they need to clean house in the Secret Service. Zero tolerance.

  I have to say that I am amazed this would happen in this administration. You would think the Secret Service would be extreemly vigilant for this president given the risk factors of terrorism, the economy, 1st black president etc. Not to mention the high risk locations this president likes to travel to.

  Define ‘concrete proof.’ Jesus did heal the blind, sick and lame. He did raise people from the dead and make 5 fish/ loaves of bread feed 5 thousand people. These were very concrete proofs of his time period.

  Consider this from a marketing perspective. How many people do you think it would take to get hundreds if not thousands of people to repeat the same message across three continents. What kind of value would the customers demand to do so? Why would they be willing to give up their belongs? even cults have trouble spreading beyond the influence of an influential leader. Would they really do it to spread a lie? What display would be required to convince them to continue spreading the message despite persecution?

  The arguements I have heard against Christ’s exsistence are delusional.
