  Dr. Rhee was NOT “quoted” as saying that. And the article went on to say, in part :”Giffords cannot speak because she is on a ventilator, and cannot see because of the area of her injury and the surgery requires her eyes be kept closed, the doctors said Monday” EYES BE KEPT CLOSED, a direct contradiction to the statement in the previous paragraph. But that’s what you get from a fly by night ONLINE news paper. Not to mention that on the Today Show, the doctor in question said, point blank, that she is not in a “induced coma” she is “heavilly sedated” NOT in a medically induced coma. He wanted to clear that up in the interview because it had been falsely reported. Ms. Thatcher, ur research sucks.

  If you were paing attention (and i guess you weren’t) President Obama stated that he was given consent by Con. Giffords’ husband to share the details of his hospital visit in regards to her ptogress. Pay attention next time.
