  • Creepy, indeed. Anybody notice that when seen from behind, Dionysus’ mask looks like devil horns sticking up from her head? This whole thing is extremely disturbing, especially how blithe and matter-of-fact our “hero for choice” is about violently removing the choices of everyone she disagrees with. This goes way beyond a mere “blind spot” in ideology. This is pure, pathological evil or mind-numbing stupidity. It HAS to be one or the other.

  • @downthewell wrote: “Beck should be run out of the country on a rail wearing tar and feathers.” First of all, how would you get a RAIL to wear tar and feathers, and what would be the point of that, anyway?

Now if someone were to dunk YOU in tar, and then roll you in feathers, look for the wet spot, and apply a large cartoon boot to it with sufficient velocity to propel you over the horizon with your feathers flying, giving forth that great Goofy yell (WOOOOOO-HOO hoo hoo hooooo!) as you are briefly silhouetted against the moon, before plummeting out of sight…

Well, I’ll tell ya, I’D pay ten bucks to see THAT.

    (Okay, back to the show.)

  • Why would it NOT focus on love and acceptance? When has Glenn EVER promised one thing and given another? When has he EVER advocated divisiveness or anger? NEVER, that’s when.

    Off with you now, troll.

  • @DOWNTHEWELL,

    Oh no you dih’ -en!

HITLER? Really?? I can’t believe you went there, gir‘ frien’! Down the WELL? Down the RAB-bit ho’, more like! LOL LOLOL ROTFLMAO wait… “MAO”? Haw haww, now I‘M doin’ it!

[And as my favorite rabid ho sinks slowly down the well, we return you to the coherent part of our program.]

  • I have to say that, for the first time in my life, I’m ashamed that I live in the Orlando area.

Hey, very uncool, Mr. Jones. There’s something going on, but you don’t know what it is, do you?

  • @CRAZYLOON: Absolutely right, you are! God knows our hearts. We can only piss each other off.

It’s the old Rhetorical Gap twisting its pretzel-icious head. That’s where you twist an idea round and round on itself, and you hope nobody notices that the ends don’t.. quite.. come together, and your argument just.. falls off, right into the gap. F’rinstance, LPHP posts:

“As long as you are not a representative of the prevailing political power structure (government official) directing the actions of the masses in a religious ritual, and you respect my right to NOT join in with same, I don’t think any real Atheist gives a flying flip about what you do in public, even on public property.”

So lemme see if I have this, um, straight. Just as long as I am NOT a government official puttin‘ on some kinda church service prayer meetin’ for the masses, AAAAND… as long as I’m not forcing her to join in…WAITWAITWAIT. Join in with WHAT? The Nativity Pageant that she just said I’m not supposed to be putting on?? I’m confused. CAN my friends and I do what we want, just so we make sure to leave her out of it? OR, am I not to do anything without she gets to watch and make sure I’m not praying? I’m just saying.

And what about atheist gymnasts? Shouldn’t THEY be allowed to give a flying flip, ESPECIALL

  • Delicious? Are you sure you didn’t mean to say deliRious??

    Doggone that Auto-Correct.
