  • As usual, the left deflects appropriate discussion by focusing on anything OTHER than the issue. The ISSUE here is the interference of the government in religious tenets and beliefs. It is just one more incident of this administrations’ shredding of the Constitution and Goebbels-inspired media lackeys backing their every effort to force this country into their version of a “New World Order”. Pay attention to how successful their efforts have been in Europe to de-stabilize and neuter any sovereignty there–that‘s what’s coming HERE if we don’t start fighting back.

  • Dmitri–as with many, you have no clue what the Tea Party is, who subscribes to it or its purpose. We are every day people from every strata of society, across all races and nationalities, every age group and every political stripe. We offer support and presence to those already in the political world that support what WE would like to see in political reality. Forming a political party is anathema to most of us because that only dilutes our message and creates more problems. Where are we? We went back to work, to school, to reality. When it becomes necessary, we will once again coalesce into a noisy, but peaceful group to storm the ramparts and make our demands known. Don’t make the mistake so many have made and discount either our presence or our goals–we have NOT disappeared, much to their dismay.

  • Surely you jest? Russell Freakin’ Crowe? Although I DO agree that if not Crowe they would have floated Clooney or Cruise–now THERE is an unpalatable thought. If they had a brain (always doubtful) they would go the “unknown” route as was done with casting Jesus…..

  • Even if the mullahs all decided to ban the practice, the adherants to this gross cult would still do it simply because the vast majority of them, outside of western environments, are illiterate and generationally brainwashed. You can find the same mentality in more than a few western religions, but in very small numbers by comparison.

  • I have a question for DeGeneres: It’s not OK for this group to speak their minds? But it IS ok for you to speak yours? Aren’t we getting a little hypocritical in our old age? There are plenty of people that don’t give a rats behind what you do in the bedroom and there are plenty who find it repugnant. If you are allowed to hold your own opinions then extend to them the same option.

  • Like most lefties, Beckel has the disposition of a ticked off badger when people disagree with his agenda–which is most of the time, at least in the real world outside of the DNC headquarters. He has always had a vulgar mouth but there is only so much you can do with talking points before you have to revert to crudity and personal attacks. Leave him alone–the more he runs his mouth, the more people can see exactly what he is and what he espouses. As for Hannity–I had to quit watching and listening to him–he refuses to control these freaks on his programs and lets them run over him and any other guests that are trying to get a word in edgewise. If I want the far left point of view, I can get it anywhere on network programming–from news to sitcoms–most of which are geared to the lowest common denominator (which is getting lower all the time).

  • Naomi Wolf is just another member of that “feminist” generation — bitter, ugly, unhappy women, determined to blame their misery on everyone else, especially men. Remnants of the drug-addled flower children that had neither the intelligence nor the courage to serve their country. I am of an age with most of the noisier ones and have nothing but contempt for them. I doubt Perry had lofty ideals in making her video, but it had the right impact: be proud of our women warriors that serve to protect the freedom of POS Wolf to spew her hatred and venom.

  • I lived in northern CA for about 10 years and feral pigs were a huge problem even then. Wine country was hit particularly hard as the pigs just loved the vineyards. I thought CA handled it well (surprise, surprise–but this WAS a couple of decades ago) as they issued deprivation permits to the ranchers, farmers, vintners that were impacted and allowed them to take as many as they could shoot. They were also allowed to set up hunting parties on their private land and take out as many as they could. One really big problem with these pigs is that after a certain weight level, they are far too gamy to eat and must be buried. Up to about 200-250 lbs., good meat, stock the freezer. One rancher I knew kept a steady supply of meat going to a childrens home and a veterans group.

  • Gladiators? They are all over TV–cage fighting, wrestling,“WipeOut”, any “Survivor” show–everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame and will suffer all kinds of physical abuse to get it. Follow the money. This bunch of perverts are no different–exploiting these kids bring them money, notoriety and did I mention money?

  • So…by the “ethicists” definition, “personhood” (”We take ‘person’ to mean an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value such that being deprived of this existence represents a loss to her.”–cut and pasted from article) children of almost any age could be “aborted” after the fact? At what age can a child define personal loss of their own life? I can think of more than a few adults that would be challenged by that query. The biggest problem these“philosophers” have is their disconnect from the real world and real humans. Which wouldn’t be a problem on the face of it if they would simply confine their pseudo-intellectual arguments to the rarified atmosphere of their ivory towers. “Ethicist” is just another word for eugenics.
