  You guys are jumping to conclusions. What are the facts? Was an arrest made improperly? Is notificationof a certain timeframe required?
  The Judge may be a jerk and illegally made up his own law on top of disrespecting the officers doing their duty but let’s see the law first.

  I wouldn’t put too much time in this. As I understand things Iran has the highest level of education in the Middle east and, in general the population supports and likes the USA. The hardcore religious and the political structure obviously hate us.
  This is probably a government show that does not represent the Iranians (the real population). If someone thinks I am incorrect I would love to be redirected to references that state otherwise.

  Having grown up with weapons and seen thousands of violent deaths I see this somewhat differently. Ms Hooper had no choice but this is still sad that a life was lost. I agree with others that this guy may have been high/drunk and thought this was a home he knew. We know nothing about his background to state that he “deserved this”…perhaps he was in jail for shoplifting?
  Again, I do not think Ms Hooper had a choice but she has been harmed by this death as has been the family of the intruder.
  He wouldn’t be dead if he was breaking into my house in this exact same manner…ringing the doorbell, banging, returning after two warning shots. I could have handled him and detained him until police got there. I state this based only on the limited amount of information we have. The only reason I state this is not to stir the pot but to counter the reflexive comments about all of you gladly shooting a person in this manner. Many of you are probably capable of figuring out the danger risk. If he had a gun then all bets are off but if he‘s drunk and stumbling I’ll wait because I can. Others may not be able to do this due to lack of experience and fear.
  This is just a counter point…I repeat that I know, based on what has been reported that Ms Hooper had no choice. I just don’t like seeing so many aggressive comments being stated by those that may be able to handle the situatiion differently. We also don’t have the whole story yet.

  Pretty much all of you missed a major point.
  Chris stated:
  “I mean, Michele Bachmann said we shouldn’t pay any taxes. How can you sit next to a person who says there shouldn’t be any taxes and have a reasonable conversation with her?”

  This is a false statement to start with and embarrassing that Huntman didn’t correct him. Huntsman is a Republic isn’t he….well sort of?
  I don’t support Bachmann but I sat and listened to the whole segment on “what percentage of the money earned is yours” She states all of it, then states but we give some of our money to our government so it can run. Her point was that we own all the money and our money is being used rather than I earn this much and the govt gets the rest.
