Senate Blocks Keystone Pipeline Bill, 11 Democrats Defect
March 9, 2012 at 4:18pm
So we (and by that I mean the White House) block the pipeline based on environmental concerns but, Canada (who has much higher environmental standards than we do) has no problem building it? Look Mr. President, if you want higher energy prices so we all become more dependent on the government to take care of us just be a man and say so. What?…He did?…And some people still think he’s doing a good job? Who are these people? Oh, the give me my check because I did nothing to deserve it crowd. Wait, why do they even get a vote? Right, because some really great men, who never thought that there would be a time when a large group of people had no honor, gave them the right. I’m done.
NC County Gov’t Defies Court Decision Banning Christian Prayers at Board Meetings
February 23, 2012 at 10:03am
I live in Forsyth County and know the case they are citing quite well. The so called ACLU bought this case on behalf of two long time Winston-Salem residents is a load. The two showed up at a meeting to bring a grievance and felt they were not being given their proper due. Mind you, I had never seen them at one of the meetings prior to this, (I go every chance I get as this is the only place I can keep an eye on what my government is doing with my money) and they left with sour looks on their faces. The prayer is nothing more than asking for guidance and wisdom to make the right choice. I guess the right choice is something the ACLU and Washington have no need of. Hey, ACLU I have case you can take, you see there is this place that is slowly pushing my chosen religion out. It tells me I can’t put up symbols to celebrate my religion and says I can’t talk about my religion were ever I want. This place is starting now to tell me that the teachings of my religion are wrong and they will now tell me what they should teach me. This place was called The United States of America. I don’t know what they call themselves now but you should go after them as they are a bigger danger to me than a prayer before some meeting.
News Anchor Forced to Deliver On-Air Apology After Saying There Is No Santa
December 2, 2011 at 11:39am
ELIASIM,
What someone teaches his or her children is up to them. Not, some pontificating blowhole that thinks whatever pops in to their head is pure gold. If I chose to tell my young children that Santa is coming and is going to leave presents for them if they were good all year, that is my right not anyone else’s. If at a later time I let them know that Santa is not a real person but a feeling, a spirit of that special time of year that again is my choice. I will tell you this. You seem to be the type of person that thinks he knows the will of GOD. Fire and brimstone is seen in all you write. Judge not for it is not your place. My GOD has given me love and life, beauty and wonder, hope and peace. Things I am sure disgust you.

Candidate Obama slams President Obama‘s ’unpatriotic’ policies
August 24, 2011 at 4:56pm
“This just in: The President is backing a new bill designed to give every America the right to personal responsibility. Republicans say that, they will hold off commenting on the bill until they have a chance to read it. A spokesperson for Nancy Pelosi says that she will have to pass it to find out what is in it. If passed this bill would give every American the Right to live with the choices they make. A source close to the President says “I think he’s lost his mind. The left will never go for it.” We will keep an eye on this story as it continues to expand. Now back to Rev. Al and it’s not my fault but I know who to blame show.”

Chris Matthews Panel: GOP Wants to Defund Planned Parenthood to Blame Gov Shutdown on Radical Feminists Who Want to Give Woman Abortions
April 7, 2011 at 2:20pm
I a 40 year old pharmacy tech. I make $10.17hr and work 40hrs a week. I have a part time job that adds another 12hrs a week to help me make ends meet. (You know broke) With this I am able to pay my bills for myself, wife, and child. It makes me mad to be in line with a half a chart of groceries and see fat people in front of me with a full chart paying with food stamps. I could probably qualify for them but I have something called pride. We as a nation use to have a lot of it. Now, I hate the fact that the stack of money in my hand keeps getting smaller as the price for everything gets higher. So what did I do? Well I sure as hell did not take it from the government and end up being a slave to them. I started to cut back. First cable, then cell phone, I buy cheap shoes and jeans. I cut travel and then internet. (I am at a public library). By the end of the week before I get paid the food in the house is almost gone, so I make damn sure my family eats first then if anything is left I will eat. It’s called sacrifice and for my family I would sacrifice everything.
As I said I am a pharmacy Tech and work in what is known as a long term care pharmacy. What we do is send meds to nursing homes. The waste in this business is incredible. Imagine a 97 year old, who might get a visit from the grand kid’s maybe once a year, get over $300k a year in meds. (We have over 3k patients you do the math) The only reason nature has not taken its course is because some family member has not had the courage to sign a DNR. (Look it up if you don’t know what it is). I have been in line at a retail pharmacy and wondered how kids on Medicaid need to be on so many drugs. I know there are ones who are really sick and need them and should get them, but it seemed to me that every kid on Medicaid is really sick. I talk to the Pharmacist and he told me that a lot of the parents come in with a script for a doctor that says for them to get something over the counter for a cough. The parent goes ballistic and tells them they better call the doctor and change it to a prescription so they don’t have to pay the $4 it would take to pay for the over the counter. Before you even think of spending one more dollar of my kid’s future, ask your next door neighbor if they are gaming the system. If they laugh and smile and say “of course” report them.
Last but not least it seems to me that the best way for us to get out of all the trouble we are in is to tell the government to stop all of your waste. Every time they come up with something it always cost more than they said it would AWAYS. Term limits for all elected officials. If they have to go back out into the world they create maybe they would do a better job. A balanced budget amendment would also be nice. As well as a law that says if you want to raise taxes you must cut spending by the same amount. All extra money to be put towards the dept. Everyone and I mean everyone should pay their fair share of taxes with no deductions. What is fair you ask? How about something simple like 10, 20, 30. Get rid of bad taxes like on gas. Let’s see, they tax the oil companies then the gas stations then us, all for the same thing. Stop giving retired millionaires SS checks. Instead let them take out their money from their retirement accounts at a lower interest rate to offset what they paid to SS.
