  • So, why, oh why, oh why, did we–as a nation–participate in the Beijing Olympics, if what China represents as a state and as a culture (devaluing little girl babies the way they do, as if they were stray cats or dogs…or worse)? Would somebody please answer THAT one for me. “Yeah, thanks, Mr. Obama (he’s not MY president, thank you), for allowing scissors to be jabbed into the skull of a newborn infant, have their brains sucked out, and left for dead on a cold abortionist’s slab somewhere, Buddy!” I won’t watch the video here–nor will I choose to share it with friends or family. Just reading the accounts of what happened to that precious little one just about wound me up in such a rage as to scream at someone (but, I’m in a public library). I remember the story of the (San Francisco) Giants fan being beaten to a thread of life at Dodger Stadium (in L.A.) on Opening Day this year, and read how many either stood and watched thugs kick, punch and pound on this innocent guy, or folks just walked on by, because they “didn’t want to get involved.” Give me a break! Yeah, Kiddies, let‘s continue to tell ourselves that we don’t need God in our lives, our country, our society. I’ll come right out and tell you (Oh, boy! I‘m a’gonna’ ruffle some feathers here, for sure!), that humankind is EVIL to the core, and–unless we get our values and morals and codes of conduct from the same Creator who is the ONLY true source of those values, morals and codes–we’re lost and wa

  • Hey, “LOCKED!” For starters, the lame-stream press either doesn‘t think there’s anything going on (with Muslims having ties to radical elements of Islam) with infiltration of America’s higher-government departments and such, or they just plain don’t care; secondly, the evidence–and the report is pretty clear to the rest of us who actually THINK and make fair and logical deductions–is there against the Obama administration full-out knowing the dangers and affiliations of radical Islam, but–as you’ll have to arrive at your own conclusions why they (Obama people in D.C.) behave the way they do–Obama and his folks seemingly WANT this (Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS) element of Islam and international terrorism HAVING an outright voice and influence inside America’s government and most secure (as the FBI) installations. Scary stuff, indeed! I do not subscribe to the opinion that the president is ignorant to what’s going on here; rather, I would suggest that, for whatever the reason, he’d like nothing else than to see our American way of life, culture and global influence not only diminished, but ultimately made null and void (exactly why, you tell me).

  • “The exception to this rule is California, which has the second most refineries in the country, but also has one of the highest average gas prices of $3.82. This is likely due in part to its gas tax rate, which is the highest in the country.” INCREDIBLE! Just another reason that I’m SO GLAD I recently relocated my family and I to Texas. The spend-and-tax Dems in Sacramento–who are controlled by the union money galore and the environmental wackos–are out of control, yet the good people of the once-Golden State continue to re-elect them into office time and time, again. Why! Because too many people out there want their “stuff,” and the Democrats promise (and, in most cases, deliver) the goodies to those 40 or 50% of the populace that pays NO TAXES–yet has the same voting power and clout as the guy or gal busting their behind to work two or three different jobs just to make ends meet for their families! Go figure, huh?!

  • At a nearby Texaco in the Clear Lake (southeast Houston suburb) area of Texas, I paid $2.99 for the lowest-grade of gasoline (I drive a 2000 Buick Park Avenue). The highest I’ve seen for the low-grade stuff is right around $3.25.

  • Amen! Though the Texas public schools aren’t nearly as PC and LGBT as California public schools are these days, we STILL prefer to homeschool our 13-year-old daughter and she–and our peace of mind as her parents–is/are all the better for it. As a former Californian (been there for the better portion of my 51 years, but recently relocated to southeastern Texas in August 2011), I know whereof I speak when it comes to far downhill California public schools (not all, certainly, but certainly a good number of them) have fallen when it comes to political correctness, LGBT indoctrination, and quality of education. We’ve already discovered, for ourselves, just how far California schools are, too, behind Texas, in particular, public schools, and I’m that much happier to know we made the right decision to get the heck out of California before it was too late.

  • Amen! My wife and I were married 21 years ago, relocated from Texas to California at that time (dumb move on our part, as we had no clue that the state would continue to slide down that slippery slope). We got sick and tired of all the “PC police” and 35 million people either not having a clue how bad things are in the once-Golden State, or just don’t have the guts and courage (there’s that word again that keeps popping up these days) to stand up and make a difference for traditional family values. So, as of August 2011, we’re back in Texas to STAY!
