  • I am sorry that Larry Flynt published that disgusting photo. It’s just plain gross to do something like that. It doesn’t matter who the woman was, it was inexcusable and rude. The View was correct to say this was over the line and revolting. However, I would take The Blaze to task for running at least two threads on this and making it an attention getting headliner. Had The Blaze not made this an issue, I would never have known about the offensive picture. And if it were me in the picture, I would not want my employer making multiple comments about it. Some things are best to be quickly condemned and then dropped. Larry Flynt is a pig, he has been for decades, why get down and wallow around with him?

  • Actually, no, the Left didn’t do that to Michelle Bachmann, the Right did it. I had never seen such a thing, so I googled it, and came up with a Mediaite report of the U.K. tabuloid report, which was very vulgar. Mediate was making a negative comment on the Telegraph.co.uk article, the Telegraph is a Right-leaning media source.

  • The Ninth Circuit Court has done a terrible thing by hosting a conference in one of the member states! The Ninth Circuit Court covers the Western states, including Alaska and Hawaii and our island territories. The Per Diem rate is $289 for Maui. The schedule is posted, it looks to be a pretty standard convention schedule. The recreational activies are NOT being paid for by the government, they will be paid for by the people for their spouses and children. I think you will find that if you go to that conference, your duty station will be the conference from beginning to the end. If you skip out without taking leave you could be in trouble. The Eighth Circuit court is holding it’s conference in Kansas City, the Per Diem rate is $160. Had they chosen to stay in Chicago, the Per Diem would have been $226. If anyone goes to NYC, the Per Diem is $295. These are rates that come from the GSA. If you spend more that what is alloted, you pay for it out of pocket, for instance, meals are $61 in Kansas City, if your meals cost $85, then $24 of it is out of your pocket. And if you charge any of those sports fee to your government charge card, you can be disciplined if not fired. Do you have any idea how much private industry pays for professional confernces? Attendence at these conferences is optional, not everyone will go. The Blaze is only carping because it’s the Ninth Circuit Court, and they are supposedly Liberal.

  • You didn’t really read the survey, did you? This census was collected by a private, religious organization. It was NOT collected by the government. It was collected by asking member faith groups about the number of members in their individual congregations. So what if some of the most Liberal places are also some of the least religious, the Constitution gives us the right to not be religious. Also, in surveys of Americans, not the census, 40% of Americans claim to attend church on a weekly basis but, if you ask them to account for their time from Friday through Monday, only about 20% of Americans take time out to attend a religious service. This number also corresponds more closely to attendence records for houses of worship. That means that half of you who are claiming to be such good church goers are lying. (Today marked the Ascention of the Lord, the vestments were white.) Oh, and the Census is REQUIRED by the Constitution. Those questions have been asked for decades. If you didn’t answer, then you are responsible for your lack of representation in the Government.

  • Okay, you win! You must have cracked the code from the super-secret Soros organization. You intercepted the memos from Progressive -Islamofascist Caliphate! It’s all true and Elvis went back to his home planet.

Wow, imagine, a country leader comes to the U.S. and he meets with the Vice President! Shocking! A Senator travels to a foreign country with other Americans, could it be a Congressional delegattion? The local leaders want to shake his hand and they turn out in droves to see him. His family is from the area? So they hug him and feel some pride in his accomplishments. That never happens to anybody else, just Obama. (The fact that the Irish, in Ireland did the same type of thing for Kennedy, is completely immaterial.) It must be a conspiracy. He has several half-siblings, from both parents, and I think some from his step-father, step-half-siblings. And your point is? He plays marathon Scrabble games with Maya when they get together, She has a Ph.D. in Education. They must have some pretty big words in those games.

All you’ve shown is how disordered your thinking is. Keep looking under the bed, the dust bunnies are commies and the cable transmissions are spying on you! And beware of the holes from three ring punches, they are data transmitters.

  • @Virginia, Oh, sad, sad, post. No English you writey, no read you can do. Pain, having am I to read post you stuffed. I’m a blue-eyed, fair-skinned, blonde of European heritage, though very little of it is WASP. I have no problem with being White. But Ron Paul supporters are not diverse. They are White, male, Protestant and between the ages of 18-34 and other than turning out for Ron Paul, they tend not to vote for anyone else. Not a really wide variation of ethnic background or world view or religious faith.

What is that rot about asking people in Asia or Africa to accept people from other races to promote diversity? I‘m sorry but it’s just too weird to comprehend. I would never do such an absurd thing. Are you saying that the U.S. is an exclusively WASP culture? Er, no, it isn’t. I’m a well-read, well-educated person; I happen to enjoy literature, art, and music. I speak some French. I like good food and good wine. I am a classicist. That usually gets me in trouble with you folks, you call me an Ivy League eliist, despite the fact that I grew up in a blue-collar home and attended public schools and state colleges. I don’t even know any Ivy Leaguers.

  • @Walkabout, It would probably shock you to find out that Liberals don’t need to pay their protestors. I’ve never even seen an offer to pay anyone to show up at a protest. I have been alerted to protests, and I have shown up, but no one has paid me or bussed me.

  • So, Katrina Trinka’s own words are lies. I thought you TeaCon types were all about facts. She has retracted her post and apologized for her error but it’s not enough for you. Don‘t talk to me about Glenn’s publishing, he takes credit for other people’s work all the time. He slaps his name on the cover, but he didn’t do the work. He doesn’t have the time to do the research and writing for a book…..well, maybe that explains the errors, too.

  • @Brovet, Where did she misrepresent her background? What did she profit from it? The cookbook is evidence that the belief in a Native heritage is held across the family and her cousin belongs to an organization that promotes the tribe. Where are your facts? My husband was one of the founding members of an Hispanic professional association. He is of German and Polish Jewish descent. He joined because he represented a lot of Hispanics and wanted to make sure that he represented them correctly. He was welcomed by the group of proud Latinos. One of the others is a sitting Congressman now.

@Markie, So you’re a Marine and at least 13 years my junior. Do I need to remind you of the things the Army says about Marines? I don’t have a tolerance for low character, none of my friends are TeaCons.

@Doom, You can prove that she lied on a job application? She was asked to come to Harvard based on her academic work, there was no application to lie on. If you were a ridiculous rightie you’d post on The Blaze.

As to the rest of you, Guns, Lettuce, and Eleu, I am as free to post on this site as you. Yes, I watch Rachel, she does her research and has an excellent academic background, verses Beck. And one of you seems to have thumbed through a copy of the Cliff Notes of “Nineteen-Eighty-Four”. Oh goody for you. Do you recognize Fox News as MiniTru?

  • Professor Elizabeth Warren did not plagarize this passage, she and her daughter were the victims of someone else’s plagarism. Here is what Ms. Trinko had to say on the subject:

“I took down my earlier post on Elizabeth Warren plagiarizing from the book Getting On the Money Track. On Amazon.com, the Warren book All Your Worth is listed as having been published January 9, 2006. As it turns out, that is the paperback publication date; the hardback book was published in March 2005. As such, it appears that Getting on the Money Track (published in October 2005) plagiarized from All Your Worth, not the other way around.

    I apologize for the error.”
