  The old saying is “you pay for who you are.” People call them like they see ‘em. She comes across to me as an “angry black woman.“ Obviously she gets caught up in the ”drama” and gets defensive. That does nothing for her image, now does it.

  They might as well have taken the money and poured it into a hole for all the good it did giving it to these agencies. This money did not stimulate anything, but further caused dependency upon the government. Isn’t that pretty much the same thing that is happening in Greece and Italy right now? Our fate as Americans is not far behind Italy and Greece spending our tax money in this fashion that grows nothing, except dependency. This has been his plan from the start with BHO, to collapse the system and this is the way to do it.

  Power and wealth have caused most American politicians to lie to us at every opportunity for their own gain. Those politicians, with Obama leading the way, are taking the United States down the tubes with their drunkedness with power and they are hiding it from the vast majority of the people in the United States. Once Americans realize that we are in such a terrible state and they have been lied to time and time again about it, most of them are going to be angry and vengeful. Of course the OWS participaters have just been the beginning of that wrath, but they are blind to see that it is our government who is behind much of what is wrong with America today and the rich are the scapegoats of the OWSer’s fury. Of course a portion of the well-off are very possibly be in on this king-pin operation too. Talk about your 3-card Monty. Once Americans do wake up to what has happened all h*ll will break loose and there will be no stopping the tsunami of wrath that will hit this country. Batten down the hatches we’re in for a rough ride!

  The Americian middle class is being brought down to the lower class, just as it happened in Argentina in 2003 with their economic collapse. I agree with Old White Guy that the media is shoving this “recovery” idea down our throats to keep people thinking that things are getting better. Sadly, they are taking the bait. I can say for a fact that my income has fallen over the last few years since Obama has taken office. I am preparing for things to get much worse.

  Had a pug my grandpa rescued several years ago named “Bully.” He was a delight. So was my grandfather, because he told my kids when he gave him to us that Bully got his flat, smushed nose because he didn’t see well and ran into a wall. The kids believed him, for about 2 seconds. LOL! My grandpa was a character. This is such a heartwarming story about these 2 dogs. I know they’ll find a good home.

  The reason he wants it to pass is because of what’s attached to the tax cuts, and that’s continued “jobless benefits and Medicare fees.” I don‘t understand why each item can’t be introduced and voted upon separately. Seems like they would get a lot more done if there was only one item in each bill to vote on,, but no, everyone has to have what they want in each bill making it virtually impossible for both sides to come to an agreement without losing something by doing so. That should be changed.

  Anyway, $40 dollars isn’t going to kill us at this point. The individuals that it would hurt would be those in the lowest income brackets and they don’t pay any taxes the way our tax system works now anyway.

  Oh my, this is absolutely heart wrenching. I pray for this firefrighter and his family. Firefighters risk their lives every day to help others and it takes a special person to do what they do. My heart goes out to this wonderful man for risking his life for others. God bless him.
