  Sadly, this type of behavior happens everyday.

  Casino’s racetracks and other gambling establishments usually either are required to or voluntarily survey their parking lots on hot days for children and animals left in vehicles. Not really a day visitor to the strip clubs so I don’t know how frequently this occurs – but it’s the same type of misguided priorities at work.

  I work in the gaming industry and have had to notify security several times about children and animals left in cars. It’s almost always the same excuse – they were just going to run in for a few minutes but they ‘lost track of time’ – which is no excuse at all.

  I agree completely with this – and I find it hard to argue against it.

  You can turn on almost any channel and a slur against a white person is going to be accepted. It‘s something to laugh at when a black person calls a white person ’*******’. Why – that’s good entertainment! Turn it back around though and you get Michael Richards.

  There is Black Entertainment TV and Black Pride – but White Entertainment TV would be considered racist – and White Pride is definitely something people take offense to (OK – it‘s been hijacked by white supremacists and I’m not on board with that garbage). There are programs specidically designed to help all races except white people.

  End result is the white man ends up being the person who gets the blame for everything. You can’t blame a minority or it is racism. White people can be blamed with no such concerns – hell it is just good entertainment to blame whitey!

  Are those the most ‘damaging’ of his allegations? That seems like a bunch of nothing to me. His big scoop is ‘Well, she didn’t attend a speech I thought she was going to attend – so you see she is really Unfit for Command’.

  Swing and a fail. Seems like he just wanted his name on a book, knew nobody cared what he thought on any matter at all – so he published some Palin e-mails that aren’t particularly damaging (but maybe the lame stream media can pour over them and twist them into something more).

  LED looks to have a better future than the ridiculous fluorescent lights. Not sure a bulb is the solution any more.

  You can get a little AA LED flashlight that can put out amazing amounts of light. A dozen or so pencil lead sized Cree LED’s could light a room with no ugly fixtures. Trying to put that technology into a screw in light bulb is a short term fix for current lamps with a screw in base.

  $50 bucks a pop for these bulbs is not a short term investment. That adds up quick – and they are almost immediately obsolete. I hate fluorescents. They give me a headache if they flicker too much. Start making lamps with the Cree LED technology with replaceable LED’s. New houses could be built with the LED’s built into the ceilings. Any fixture/duffuser used could be under an inch diameter. Spread out evenly in the room you would get perfect lighting with the ability to adjust lighting to any portion of the room to your taste.

  For now – let use use the old bulbs. Don’t force this ridiculous crap on us.
