  • There is European Christianity and American Christianity. European Christianity built ostentatious domes while American Christianity built clarion calling steeples to the faith. The ostentatious domes are in our heads in the form of an intellectual faith in Christ and God the father.

God is in the head and not the in the physical. People who name their kids Jesus as if they were naming him Mikey are only grasping Christianity in its pagan form.

  • America’s long and disgraceful history with the indigenous Indians colors this debate. Sadly Indians are writing themselves out of history instead of embracing and extending their legacy. I sent a letter to the Minnesota Vikings telling them I was offended being that I”m part Swede. They laughed their asses off

  • I’ve heard your plan elsewhere.

  • I agree. We have revolutionary rights. You may end up dying trying to exercise them, but they exist. In politics a gentle reminder of that right one would hope would wake up others to behave accordingly.

Secession is a right that liberals have well established via the United Nations. Look at how Kosovo is no longer a part of Serbia. When the government steals property (Kelo) and tries to compel the purchase of products (Obamacare) you have a government that IS tyrannical. Those are in fact the very behaviors that committed the U.S. to revolt against England.

  • The problem with the blaze (and breitbart) is that people say very little on topic with the articles. You might as well say my nose is purple on your post. I gain nothing!!!

  • I guess the CBO has wrecked its reputation. Once considered non-partisan and their projections gospel are now no longer going to be accepted as such.

  • Race, race, race, race, race…

    Always race.

I’d bet changing “No child left behind” to “Race to the top” is about race too!

Libertarians beliefs are no different than Communist beliefs. They both believe that if they are listened to and followed religiously there will be a Utopia. Dystopia is more likely.

Somalia is a libertarian community in action. Who wants to live in Somalia?

I don’t know what small government is. I do know what effective government is.

I like the NIH, EPA, NASA, National Laboratories, CDC, … The American with Disabilities act has given my amputee, WW II, grandfather a better life. Affirmative Action was good, did good, was needed, and yet a sunset date has to be announced. I believe in a social net for the truly needy but only when it can be paid for. State lotteries are wrong. Gay marriage is wrong.

No, Libertarians don’t define what they stand for. It is merely a nebulous idea with NO guidelines. It is actually worse than the Tea Party is today. Just generic ideas and not much else.

But I’m glad libertarians are engaged. :0)

Liberals and libertarians are BOTH libtarded.
