  MSNBC guest Joy-Ann Reid, who writes for NBCUniversal-owned website theGrio.com, suggested that Mitt Romney was racist for not helping a struggling African American woman he met while on the campaign-trail by not giving her money from his own wallet. ”It galls me,” Reid started. “I don’t even like to watch it. He just doesn’t care about a little old struggling lady enough to give her 50 bucks because she is black.

  The woman, Ruth Williams, said she was praying for divine guidance as to how she would pay a late electric bill when she happened upon the Romney tour bus. After talking to Romney about her troubles, he shook her hand and sent her on her way saying “The government has programs to help you”. The guy was wiling to make $10,000 bets with his GOP pals during a candidates debate but can’t even open his wallet for a black woman.
