  • Don’t know if anyone has mention this, but they may have had 4 people check for errors…but we have come to an age where spell-check on a word processor is the norm…is it not spelled correctly??…I‘m a teacher and kids don’t know how to spell, we’ve gotten away from phonics, spelling by the phoneme is perfectly fine so we don’t hurt their little egos, hence the business world has to deal with these type of outputs of our educational system…correct spelling is a big issue in my classroom…it’s the first thing a company will use to get to know a person off of a resume…I teach science but stress and even sometimes do a mini language arts lesson to somehow try to improve the kids….what the company needed was a proof reader, not someone checking with Word.

whoa!!…I thought the stimulus bill of ‘09 was for ’shovel ready’ projects!!??…now we need to spend more $$??…instead of spending bucks for a bridge for a turtle crossing or resurfacing runways of airports with no airline traffic…we should have been spending the first stimulus on the roadways…let’s stop the spending, get govt. out of the way, and let the free market take over and increase the economy, which will put people back on a payroll and revenue will go up…Einstein said it best..‘doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is called insanity’…..

As others have stated, didn’t get one word of his speech…but it‘s human culture to have several ’voices’..obviously, big al is talking to a group of african americans, so he is using his ‘inner city voice’ towards them…obama does the same thing…addressing a group of african americans he has his ‘inner city’ voice…when he speaks to a group containing mainly whites he has a very distinct ‘voice’ pronouncing every letter of every word…
