  Being a white woman who has taught in all black schools for the majority of my teaching career, which has now ended, her racism is what I experienced daily in the 15 years I was in the classroom. I homeschool, as I want my child to learn and not focus on issues that kids are too young to understand, and not based on facts. Sadly, she represents the majority of principals, and school administrators that I have come in contact with.

  I plan on stopping at every lemonade stand, cupcake sale, and any other sale that supports Glenn’s movement. Our children need to understand what taking care of yourself is all about.

  As a Christian, I feel that God creates gay people that way. I have gay family members and friends and all say that they knew they were different at an early age. I do not think that gays should be married, as marriage is a sacred vow between a man and a woman.

  I find Christians who are intolerant of gays to be offensive, as offensive as those who find nothing wrong with abortion and gay marriage. I don’t know any gay people that chose to be that way (different). I judge people on who they are, how they treat me, and their values, not by what they do in the bedroom.

  Agreed. Especially when they are being thrown at people trying to get to work and make a living, which is not being reported by the news media.

  SmokeySmoke, this is what I have heard from friends who live in the loop/just south of the loop as well. These people don’t want anyone to work and anyone holding a job is a target.
