  Drivers license, fishing license, hunting license, A&P license, marriage license, etc. I’ve been told for many years that these are all priveleges, not rights. Perhaps I should start by say, fishing with no license, and see what the gov’t has to say about it… Ask someone who has lost their drivers license, or better yet, Go and drive a class 8 road tractor without a commercial class A drivers license and see how much a right the law enforcement people think it is… Well, gotta go and work on that aircraft that your flying on, you see, the ‘rights’ people must also think it’s a right, not an earned privelege to work on that aircraft. In the paraphrased words of an old bunny rabbit, “silly people, licenses are for kids!!!”

  I spent enough years as a flight engineer to know this is a good thing, flight pubs can be maintained in the aircraft on board library, as well as the -1, in hard copy. For common use, an electronically updated set of manuals and regs would have been a blessing!!!

  Well said, Tx. At the dealer, I asked the salesman if I could delete all the airbags, and the seat belts in all but the drivers position, on a 2010 Challenger R/T. He looked confused, well, I said, take a picture of someone with 3 people sitting in the backseat, and call me, I‘ll come back and we’d talk, I simply can‘t believe my phone hasn’t rung, that was 2 years ago.

  That is one comment I thoroughly agree with. What are they thinking, to inject 3 semi loads of kerosene down the hole, as well? They have to be looking for hydrocarbons, what next, are they planning to bottle the water and sell it to Americans? I remember once, in Walmart, reading the label on a gallon jug of water being marketed as ‘baby water’. Source- Chicago IL. PTW (abbreviation for public treatment works) yeah, thats some water that oughtta be good for your toddler. Cute picture of a happy little baby on the label, though.

  Outrider, what a horrible thing to say about veterinarians. The vets I have had care for my animals have all been wonderful people, as well as the techs I have had the pleasure to meet, they have helped me and my family thru some very difficult times.
