  • Not sure why a word got bleeped there in my post? Hmmm… Didn’t swear or anything (though I’ve wanted to swear often in the last four years or so). Sorry if something came out “wrong.” Oh well…

  • First, Huntsman’s defintely NOT a Soros plant, and is a man of his own mind, but as a “Teapartier” here in Utah he is considered (by at least those I know) as liberal. Remember the 2007 ads on green energy and global warming (I‘m sure Gov Huntsman wishes we wouldn’t) where he appeared with Schwarznegger and other liberal governors? Gagged us all with a spoon — WHAT was he thinking? He was also a BIG proponent of light rail and high speed rail here in Utah — a huge waste and boondoggle as far as the eye can see (now embedded in our state probably forever). If he was ever conservative on an issue I wish someone would point it out — the citizens in Utah would like to see proof.

He’s a really good man but not a conservative. Both very financially successful — I can’t really see much difference between him and Romney. They both attract the older blue hair country-club repubs in Salt Lake City who have too much money and too much guilt, and leaves some of us younger active LDS really scratching our heads (I think most of us would rather die and are ready too, than support government-funded abortion such as Romney did in Massachussetts) . Not candidates of the future but the past. (Harry Reid REALLY confuses us — what the heck?)

And trust us, Orrin Hatch is hard on our radar screens for the upcoming primaries (I’m a delegate). He and many of us wandered a little far afield from the conservative hollows where we should abide, especially here in Utah.

  • Hatch is MAJOR RINO and we woke up here in Utah about 2 years ago to who our two senators REALLY were and what they were about. We’re all salivating to to flush this T**D down the ballot box in 2 years (and oh it’s coming), just like we did Bennett for all the RINO crud he’s been pulling (I became a member of the Republican Caucauses here just to do this good deed and to rid us of Bennett). After we took Bennett down, Hatch, like McCain, has suddenly gotten the “conservative religion” and we thought he might quit making CDs with Muslims (singing muslim hits??!?!) but here he is again. Hmmm… Though I understand (we’re mostly LDS/Mormon here so we’re a tad sensitive to religious freedom issues) his religious freedom argument he’s otherwise showing his true colors again. Well, his senatorial days are numbered and we’re all waiting to vote him out in 2012 for stuff like this and his original horrific unforgivable sin of signing TARP despite Utahns asking/begging/pleading with him 700+ to 1 NOT TO SIGN IT (that 700 to 1 is reported from one of his staffers). And these two senators seem to be tending to REFUSE now to show their faces here in Utah or they’ll definitely get the Ben Nelson Pizza Treatment here too
