  A fine example (social security). I do not think it will end well in 2012. But, I will keep pressing on. Who knows, maybe another, better candidate will emerge from the tea party. We’ll see.

  REALLY?

  This is IT? In our nation of MILLIONS, do we not have a charismatic, principled, constitutional conservative individual who can rise up and lead us out of this nightmare? Instead, we’re dusting off old progressive and liberal “republicans” (read: Mitt and Newt), or putting forward UNWINNABLE candidates that happen to tow the line with more strict adherence to conservative principles but will NOT win because they’re too whiny and milktoast (read: Santorum) or too crotchety and incoherent (read: Paul). Where’s our Marco Rubio? Where’s our Allen West? Where’s our truly conservative candidate who can actually WIN???

  And please. Do NOT go there with Jeb Bush. He is anything but a constitutional conservative. His education initiatives alone disqualify him.

  This is a sad day for the Tea Party. A sad day for conservatives. A sad day for libertarians. And a bellwether of things to come. Obama just might be able to make it. And it will be our fault. Our own unprincipled fault.

  I’m confused… aside from the lame message (which is nothing new in our schools), what’s everyone all up in arms about? I went and did a google search, saw several other videos in this series, and I have yet to see anything “graphic” in nature. Am I missing something? Is there some visually graphic video that we‘re referencing that’s not available online? I’m certainly not defending this series, just want to understand what’s being referred to when we say “graphic content”.

  I think a better argument would be to say that he (Newt) would support gays in the same way that he would support anyone else in this country. They deserve to be able to live freely without the threat of harm, and deserve to be treated fairly in the workplace (as an individual, not a married couple). But that they will get no special recognition or favor, nor will they be afforded the right to marry. Marriage is a union between opposite sexes and a president should defend that.

  Anyone who would propose to support a 3rd party candidate is proposing to vote for Obama. Not matter who’s name is on that 3rd party ticket (Paul, Trump, Bloomberg…) it might as well say Obama because that’s EXACTLY who will benefit from that vote. A 3rd party candidate wil NEVER get elected to the white house, certainly not in this cycle. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER. So are you seriously telling me you’re comfortable with your whiney-ass little protest vote when you could have otherwise helped to REMOVE that cancer we have in the white house right now? Say what you will about Newt, but politically he is 1,000,000 miles away from the ideology of the marxist-in-chief.

  To say Newt is cut from the same cloth as Obama is laughable at best, shameful and dishonest at worst. He’s obviously not the pure conservative candidate we want, but he’s no Obama. not by a mile. Not by a million miles. Wake up, drones.

  You want the candidate you’re asking for? Go vote for Michelle Bachman. But since NOBODY is going to do THAT, shut the hell up about your principles. They mean nothing unless you’re prepared to act on them.

  Why? Because Ron Paul will get us attacked. Period. He has some good ideas in some areas, but his isolationist, “head-in-the-sand” approach to this global geo-political world just WON’T WORK. PERIOD. And people with good sense KNOW IT.

  It’s unfortunate, because those same people with good sense would LOVE to see someone with his approach to monetary policy and spending in the white house. But his flaws are what ensures he will never get there unless he‘s on a visitor’s tour.

  A leftist will never understand someone’s desire to own a weapon because in their childish, rose-colored minds, one can always talk and negotiate with an enemy. It actually takes quite a substantial mental leap to not understand why someone would want to have protection in the home for yourself and your family.
