  Please rethink your position, unless you’re high on pot as you write. You see a whole family dead after being hit head-on by a pothead and you want this legalized? If your conscience is so dead, may you become so paralyzed that no one will ever encounter you behind the wheel. DUI is DUI regardless of the drug. A good guess is that you avoid cemeteries, where lots of folks lie because of those who espouse your philosophy. America provides freedom to be used, not abused.

  Yup. Instead of dealing with the guilty (those who enjoy destroying lives for a huge profit), punish the innocent (the rest of us). “That’s the law”? That’s truth mixed with hogwash! We the people, on a jury, can render a verdict finding the guilty innocent or the innocent guilty, solely because we believe that the law is wrong. And that’s the truth. Look it up. As our nation’s first Supreme Court Chief Justice, John Jay, pointed out, “The jury has a right to judge both the law as well as the fact in controversy.”

  ‘S funny. This guy wants notoriety for training young, impressionable minds to ultimately be able to read the Qur’an untranslated. Oh, he may deny it, fiercely even. But since it’s hard to find two Muslim PhD scholars who agree on the correct English translation (i.e., what it actually means), what will this really accomplish? Think about it. All part of the grand plan to Arabicize America; first Sharia, next this… At least it’s now more commonly known that Islam is no religion of peace, with Sunnis and Shiites butchering each other – reminiscent of the Roman Catholics and Protestants slaughtering each other; no peace there either. The prophet Mohammed was a man of war, so it’s understandable that his disciples will imitate him. The man which Mohammed called the prophet Jesus is also called the Prince of Peace. Jesus never hurt anyone besides those in the temple who were profiteering from the ones coming to worship God there – even then he never murdered them or anyone else. Is this Prince of Peace coming back to reign and bring peace worldwide? I believe so.

  Why do you claim any integrity and call yourself an “atheist”? By definition, atheists don’t exist. The true atheist insists that he/she knows that no god exists anywhere. To actually know that there is no god, one must be omniscient, which by definition makes the so-called atheist a god. At least the agnostic is honest. The most you can honestly assert is that you don’t know of any god and no one can prove there is one. But you can’t prove a universal negative using the scientific method, can you?

  Told ya so. Whenever folks rally behind DOMA or any other positive standard for society, it‘s only a short matter of time before it’s repealed. The schools, folks! The schools! Think about it! How many do they graduate annually that are bereft of either commonsense or any understanding of history? Whatever we pass will be unpassed, just like Prohibition. These guys bided their time and now they have us where they want us.
  But it ain’t over yet. There are still a lot of us who do know right from wrong and still pray to the One who remains over all this mess. He‘s in charge and we’re less than ants in His sight; He can correct anything He wants to and nobody can oppose Hi successfully. That’s a fact: He wins in the end.
