  • LOOK AT THE PARENTS OF THE KID!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was this little boy hyped up about a ball game to the extent that this missed opportunity to get a game ball crushed him to this extent? The parents or whoever was in charge of him needed to make a stand. How old is this little boy? 2? 3? 4? He looks pretty young to me. From my experience, children are trained far too often in our society to choose what they want (their desires are paramount) from the earliest age and for the most inconsequential want. I have worked as a server and waited for several minutes for a parent to cajole out of their little one what he wants to eat at that meal. Sometimes everyone has already made their order and a parent is coaxing a decision from their child. People they are children!!!! In most instances, the child should not even be given a choice in matters at a very early age. Instead the child needs to be trained!

  • The issue of homosexuality will never go away as long as there is sex. The issue is what a people will allow as a legally accepted norm in their society. Some people will say we should not create laws that govern morality. That is silly, please name a law that doesn’t relate to someones sense of morality! For example, Why do I stop at a stop sign? Because it is the law. Also, the powers that be have made it their mission to make every person in this country aware that there is the possibility of great physical danger if you fail to consistently obey traffic laws such as stopping at stop signs and wearing seat belts. The government has made a moral statement by saying that it is wrong to not stop at a stop sign. The thought behind it is for the safety of the driver and others the driver may encounter. Society also has the right to set laws about norms in society with regard to sexual behavior.
My personal experience has been this: every “homosexual” person that I have talked with on this subject who also believes the Bible agrees that if they continue in their behavior, they will go to hell! Now don’t you think that is a condemning statement? Please say what you will for your opinion, but those who claim to be Christian and state that they can also continue with their homosexual activities, refuse to acknowledged God’s law on this subject.

    In reply to KingDawg.

I evidently was cut off from my last transmission. I wanted to say, I think people have more of a proble with never ending punishment than thy do with punishment in general. Jesus doe say there will be weeping an gnashing of teeth in Matthew and Luke.
    –Thanks

  • I agree. But isn’t it silly that a news reporter will find a reference to a phrase, deem it written by a gay poet, (my internet search says that it is thought the poet might have been gay), and then use it to bring out peoples immediate reactions to a conservative using a “gay” slogan. The reporter, in my opinion, was assuming that the question would be controversial and set the conservative in a bad light. Perceptions are important. Some people might say, “Why would you use a ”gay ” poet, isn’t a straight poet good enough for you?” They miss the whole point. Anybody could say, “Fighting to make America America again.” Why is it that someone who was an advocate for civil rights and social justice, as this poet was reported to be, should be considered as an adversary of a conservative anyway? Most people that I know are for these ideas, but different people have different views as to how they should be implemented. I think Mr. Santorum gave a very smart answer when he said that if it indeed had come from the poet, he was not aware of it.

  • That’s dedication? No, there is only sadness and horror. The ability to feel compassion for others cannot be set aside. This young man made a wrong decision. A decision he will regret eternally. Without God, and an understanding of God’s love, people accept a skewed sense of the world and reality. We don‘t know what was truly in this man’s thoughts. He may have been under the influence of mind altering drugs. It would be hard to conceive that anyone could actually stand and stab themselves. We should pray for the family and friends, and have the right attitude. God does care and so should we.
