  • First, I like to read these comments, but, BIGJAYINPA, BO has had some tough slogs, if he is the typical golfer; try hitting out of the long rough, through trees across a pond and over a sand trap to the green! Clinton would have just taken a mulligan, subtracted two from his gross score, and said he was lying on in three. In his case, he probably was lying. Interesting that BO picks his targets to be visible. He had to leave New England, Irene was headed that way, heaven forbid he be in the path of danger.

I suspect there are staffers working all night to find some way to blame it on Bush. Well, technically, BO did inherit the climate from the previous administration, so, it is Bush’s fautl! What a Twit! But, really not much more of one than those news personalities that can’t wait to be seen on t.v. clinging to a post, wearing their slickers!

  • Why Was Virginia’s Earthquake Felt All The Way in Canada?

    In reply to DHD.

You are, of course, correct. Now, Obama can add Virginia quake to his list of disasters that have prevented him from single handly saving the country! I’m sure someone, probably Olberman or Matthews, will soon emerge with credible proof that Bush and Rove were seen sneaking into the Luray Caverns last weekend with explosives to trigger the quake!

  • Well, Chris Matthews is the expert at interruption, but O’Rielly is, basically, a bully. I’ve long felt, which is why I seldom watch him, that the spin doesn’t stop with him, it starts with him. He lets liberals have the last word, and that is where the spin comes in. I wish Laura would have let Rangel finish, but, frankly why is he even on the show. He expected the O’Rielly treatment, to get to say what he wanted to say, and she wouldn’t allow it. O’Rielly had the opportunity to really interview Obama, but decliined to ask anything other than softball questions, “out of respect”.

  • Years ago there was a Chevy Chase movie where he, in a moment needing a diversion, lifted a mattress and noticed the ‘do not remove under penalty of ….” etc, etc. Think of it, the police could nab criminals on two different levels: illegal tag removal and not using flat sheets! We know, of course, that the union puppet, Governor Brown will sign this law, if it reaches his desk. Ah, yes, Democrat lawmakers at their finest!

  • Well, when we have a president that says we are not Christain nation, and his ‘me too’ generals fall in line behind him, what can one expect. I can’t wait until someone wants to breath life into the Aztec religon and we start human sacrfices again!

  • FERTLMND has got it right, but left out he is most likely a former military member, card carrying NRA member, and a christain! Did we leave anything out? Oh, bet his folks have an airplane!

  • Alas, even if he is found guilty, and it is hard to imagine he won’t be, and he loses all pay and benefits, he will continue to draw his pay until Congress (The Senate) takes away his rank. Congress commissions officers, and only Congress can take away the commission. There are, without doubt, officers in Leavenworth or other military prisons that cointinue to receive their pay because there has been no Congressional action to take away their rank. Thus, there will be no repayment or return of his pay.

There is a former sheriff (Mike Corona) in California that is in prison, but draws a couple hundred thousand a year in retirement pay!

  • There are numerous verses in the Bible about the poor, and admonistions as to what should be done to help them. I am traveling, so can’t access my reference (Bible) but there are parables about those who have “talents” are to increase them, not to give them away. There is also the comment, from Christ, that “the poor will always be with you.“ The liberals try to say it is unchristian to not want to give to ”Caesar” to let him give to the poor, but it is not. Christians are taught to take care of the poor and needy, not to funnel the money through a government.

  • The fact that Peterson was a Marine officer once is not of any particular value; the late John Murtha was a Marine, but constantly showed he was anti-military; Dan Rather was a Marine, however briefly and lied constantly, and, as I recall, Lee Harvey Oswald.had been a Marine at one time.

  • Alas, we are enabler in this. The sports media, in particular, would never ask Vladamir Guererro, for instance, to speak in English, although he has been in professional baseball since 1996, and earns, this year, nearly $8M. When the media, for instance, quits allowing these ballplaers, who have no problem understanding dollars, to speak through interpreters, it will be a start. Kudos to the state senator.
