  As a former banker I can tell you those guilty are all of the above! Uhhh the things I know could fill a thimble compared to the big execs but I know the investors down to homeowners are all guilty on this. To try and tell that to these OWS zombies is futile, they have been programmed to hear one side. Let me be clear there were more homeowners that were victims but many were guilty of running scams too. Unless you worked in the industry and have a handle of what happened you probably think they were only victims. Do you have any idea how many times Id get a call from my underwriter about a homeowner trying to put one over on our company?! Many times followed by a call to my clients asking them “Are you aware….“ where the call ended with me saying ”its a dead deal”.

  The machine was corrupt to the core and its why I got out before the collapse in 07. Only to pay a dire price… blackballed for working in the banking industry which led to a massive unemployment gap to where its next to impossible for me to get a job I am more than qualified for. 20yrs work experience, legitimate college degree all down the drain.I’ve asked everyone for help only to answered with silence… Anyone in SO CA wanna help a brother out email me: A.Avilla at yahoo.com

  This man is just another example of the DEPRESSION this country is really facing. My father years ago had ppl come to him for jobs but he couldn’t help them; and these were people with master degrees etc. way before this mess started! So, I believe the Dr., I have exhausted every contact and cannot get work.

  I talked to an old boss and asked for a heart to heart thinking I PO‘d people he said its not you people are at a place where they are so fearful for their own jobs they won’t risk their reputation for anyone. Its easy for some here to bash b/c you aren’t there… yet… you aren’t long term unemployed like many of us. I have a earned a legit 4yr degree (from a school that doesn’t advertise on TV, yea I actually sat in 300 person lecture halls) possess 15+yrs in business-to-business outside sales, inside sales, account management and product development (tangible/intangible products; prototype to final product resulting to actual sales) and management experience who can’t get work.

  I dont know what angers me more about all of this with the banks. That these people still have jobs while continuing this garbage or the fact that to this day I am still paying the ultimate price (being unemployed and wiped out) for once working in the industry! Yea thats right I have been blackballed like many just b/c I worked in the industry! That blackballing snowballed into an unemployment gap that is now used against me!!! Last recruiter I spoke to about week ago told me I have to have a job to get a job.

  Where are the criminal investigations into all of these people why hasnt the SEC or DOJ stepped in? I mean c‘mon its been ongoing since early ’07 08. I wonder if it would even matter since the umpa lumpa Angelo Mozilo from Countrywide (now owned by BofA) got off with millions.

  Nice real nice these dopes take the economy apart and continue to do the things behind the scenes that brought it down they get to keep their 6 figure jobs drive their $80-100K cars …. While ppl like me with a college degree from a real school (not one that advertises on tv I sat in actual 300+ person lecture halls) and over 15yrs work experience and cant get work.   @Cheez: So true man I have cpl ideas on the back burner but cant get any breaks to get them built. One is truly revolutionary idea of a new fuel system (no Im not crazy its legit and could change everything!) based off of already existing proven technology. These guys do everything possible to squash the inventor of today where a 100yrs ago they were embracing them. It sucks there are so many like myself with true potential who cant get a shot at a job or bringing something truly innovative to the market!

  @Grandma: you got taken. Sorry but I must tell you the truth those new product companies rip ppl off. You have to do the footwork yourself. I got taken when I was 19 by an invention company on one of my designs. They never marketed it to the right ppl, instead of actual gadget mfgs, they mkt’d to plumbing business etc.

  Another RICH politician ranting away while folks like myself who got an education and have worked hard cant find work! Nice real nice Grayson! Its a crime for folks like Beck and Limbaugh to make money but guys like you its ok! Wasnt Grayson one of those guys in DC looking to nail the door shut so folks couldnt make something for themselves and be successful? Get rich become a politician then change the rules so you can stay rich while driving the economy and people like myself into the ground huh Alan?

  Its against my better judgment to do this but with the outpouring of support Gary got I’m wondering if my fellow Beck fans may help me out as well?

  There are many out there like Gary and me, who paid our dues, earned a legit degree (from a school that doesn’t advertise on TV, yea I actually sat in 300 person lecture halls) possess 15+yrs in business-to-business outside sales, inside sales, account management and product development (tangible/intangible products; prototype to final product resulting to actual sales) and management experience that can’t get work. This economic downturn has been devastating to say the least (use your imagination) I’ve tried all angles to find work (friends or friends, Alumni Services, Career Dept from my former university etc even the company my father worked for) only to hit dead ends. These dead ends result in an employment gap which is now used against me.
