NY Times Forced to Correct Error-Riddled ‘Wall Street Psychopaths’ Op-Ed
May 22, 2012 at 2:37pm
LOL! The New York Times, Washington Post, Baltimore Sun and a few others seemed to be more concerned about pushing an agenda than reporting the truth. I‘d like to say there are none of these types on the right but we both know I’d be wrong. It’s a… sign of the times if you will. If this sounds familiar you might recognize the following:
“Another remarkable and unexpected symptom of national decline is the intensification
of internal political hatreds. One would have expected that, when the survival of the nation became precarious, political factions would drop their rivalry and stand shoulder-to-shoulder to save their country. [...text deleted...] True to the normal course followed by nations in decline, internal differences are not reconciled in an attempt to save the nation. On the contrary, internal rivalries become more acute, as the nation becomes weaker.” – Sir John Glubb discussing common characteristics of countries in decline in The Fate of Empires
Politicians that spew forth hatred and foul language need to be shown the door. That‘s a sure sign that they’re letting their emotions rule their behavior. That is the exact opposite of what we need right now. We need cool heads. We need men of character willing to make the hard choices.
‘Conservative Survival in the Romney Era’
May 22, 2012 at 11:36am
I’m not voting for Romney in November. I’m voting AGAINST Obama. Whichever opponent is polling highest versus Obama just prior to the election will receive my vote. That will almost certainly be Romney, but if it’s a third party candidate then so be it.
And if Romney wins, he’ll have four years to convince me to vote for him again otherwise my vote in four years will go for the third party candidate.
DUNCE: Buchanan rushes to judge Zimmerman without a trial while accusing people of rushing to judge Zimmerman without a trial
May 22, 2012 at 11:27am
Pat is doing two things here that are perfectly valid.
1) Make the point that until all the evidence comes out, you have to keep an open mind. With only part of the story Zimmerman may appear guilty and actually be innocent or, vice versa, he may appear innocent and actually be guilty.
2) WITH THAT CAVEAT it’s then perfectly reasonable to ask, given the evidence we do have now how are things looking.
So I don’t think Pat is being hypocritical here. We all realize that until you have the whole story you can’t make any final conclusions, but there’s still value in analyzing and discussing the data you do have.
Example: Given what I know and the evidence I’ve seen so far, I don’t think a reasonable jury of 12 would convict. But, of course, I haven’t seen all the evidence and there might be something that completely changes my mind being released tomorrow… That’s not being hypocritical, it’s simply being analytical.

The Blaze Invites You to Ask Prominent Atheist Your Most Burning Questions
May 10, 2012 at 5:12pm
Ask him to define religion. Then provide him with the correct definition. One well suited for this discussion would be “a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith” but there are several that will work for the purpose of this discussion. Then ask him if atheism qualifies as a religion. If he says no, I would ask him him if athiesm is a cause? Does it qualifie as a system of beliefs? Do some people hold to these beliefs with ardor? Can he prove with scientific certainty that God does not exist? (On a side note, it is, in general, very difficult to prove a negative.) Therefore atheists have faith that God does not exist. So, on what tenet does atheism fail to be a religion?
My last question would then be: Isn’t this just a crusade of religious intolerance by one religion against all others? Isn’t this just another example of one group, convinced they and only they are right, trying to silence those with differing beliefs?

Teacher Sues Catholic School After Claiming She Was Fired for Using…In Vitro Fertilization
April 26, 2012 at 4:11pm
I don’t think I could disagree more strongly. I don’t agree with every doctrine of the church I attend. If there is someone who agree‘s with the entire doctrine of their church they’re probably the founder. Even priests occasionally speak out against church policy. This does not in any way make these people hypocrites.
Herx has every right to have IVF.
And the RELIGIOUS school she works for HAS EVERY RIGHT to fire her. They’re a religious organization. They have the right to fire and hire based on religious beliefs and/or a person’s adherance to those beliefs. If you don‘t like it then don’t work for a religious organization. THE GOVERNMENT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO SAY IN WHO A RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION HIRES OR FIRES. (And, for the record, I’m not catholic and my church has no issues with IVF.)
The liberals want to preach separation of church and state when it serves their agenda and ignore it completely when it doesn’t.
Van Jones: GOP critics of the EPA are ‘kid killers’
April 26, 2012 at 4:01pm
And prochoice people are baby killers.
Do you want to be divisive, argumentative, irrational and partison or do you want…. oh nevermind, I forgot who we were talking about.
As far as I’m concerned Van Jones has passed into the Jesse/Sharpton camp. You know the tree by it’s fruit.

“How could anyone ever believe that Islam is the religion of peace, when all they do is hate?”
Oh come on… they do far more than just hate. They actually hunt these people down and beat and kill them!
The simple fact that the MSM refers to Islam as a religion of peace and you never hear them refer to other religions in this way should really tell you everything you need to know about these so called journalists. They’re willing to twist the truth to the point of breaking to support their agenda.
Don’t get me wrong here because any group of any size is going to have radical elements. Look back at the so called christians killing abortion doctors. The way you judge the majority is how they react to such events. When people claiming to be christians started shooting at people at abortion clinics the vast majority of christians in this country stood up and started vocally condemning them.
What did most muslims do on 9/12/2001? In a lot of countries they were throwing parties in the street. If you listen to the left they‘ll tell you we deserve this because we’ve been so bad but in truth they hate us because we support Israel. And they’re clearly demonstrating why we support Israel over them.
And never forget that Islam is MORE than just a religion. It’s is a religious, political, legal and military system rolled into one and no sovereign nation should tolerate it’s influence in these latter three areas.
