To freeusall: The truth is that it’s not God who is “taking” everybody. Sickness (also sin and death) comes from Satan (Acts 10:38) and Jesus came to this earth to destroy the works of Satan (1 John 3:8). Isaiah 53:4 says He has borne our griefs…the hebrew word here literally translates to “sicknesses”. God heals but we have to read and study the bible to understand how all this works. I personally know several people who have been healed by God of different things. The reason everyone doesn’t receive is because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Also, everyone dies in this life at some point, but eternity is forever. That kid is in a much better place now and he is experiencing true peace. The “bad” people who live long lives will have a much longer life in eternity in a place where they don’t want to be. God is love (1 John 4:8) and He loves all of us, even unbelievers (John 3:16) and His will is that none of us perish (2 Peter 3:9) but that all of us would be saved. But we have a choice in the matter. God will not MAKE us choose Him. Hope this helps.
