  First let’s try “reasonable” profits and salaries for entertainment, sports, DVD’s, movie tickets, etc. !!! $20mil for a couple months work to make a film, $50 mil for spending a few hours recording a song, $250 mil for playing a pro sport for a few years?? Of course, there would be no one with any entertainment experience or talents on the board that determines how much they should make. Just think of all the money that would be saved on agents/managers!

  I think WalMart should put a collection box at each checkout stand, then divide the proceeds among their hourly employees. That way customers that want to pay more for their goods to improve the lives of WalMart people will have a chance to put their money where their mouth is. Of course, the union won’t get any money to donate to Leftists, but that should be OK, since they care so much about the employees.

  It seems silly to me that WalMart’s main customer base is people trying to save money. So how would raise their prices help these people??? If the public wanted to pay more for goods to allow merchants to pay higher wages, WalMart would be out of business instantly. Of course, I admit that most of those in that flash mob probably believe WalMart could increase wages and benefits, without increasing their prices. And they probably still believe in a free lunch, Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, and that government can provide goods and services for less than the private sector.

  Their ignorance would be sad, if it wasn’t so expensive for the rest of us that earn what we consume.

  Leftists like ABC above should move to Detroit, or even vacation there, to see first hand what their future holds for them … Job opportunities, quality of life, educational opportunities for their children, etc. etc. The hipocrocsy of their comments are highlighted at the check out in Wal Mart … It is the paying customer that decides where products get made and by whom. It is not the rich or evil corporations that buy all those products made in China and elsewhere. If the public refused to buy stuff from China, Wal Mart wouldn’t be putting it on their shelves!!! Regrettably, we don’t have a choice on where we get the services provided by these civil servant union members. Which is why the unions are at war to hold onto those workers, and charge them dues, whether or not they want to pay them!!
