Is Supporting the Death Penalty ‘Christian?’
August 31, 2011 at 7:29am
here is yet another hotly debated issue which shouldn’t be difficult for Christians. I am what I consider to be very conservative but on the issue of the death penalty I firmly beleive that only God has the right to give and take life. One post here quotes scripture from the new testament “for the wages of sin is death” as justification for the death penalty..well then each and every one of us are worthy of death because we’re all sinners.
I think about what sentence was handed down to our Lord and savior, this most despicable and cruel punishment for a crime he did not commit and what did he pray to his father as he hung from the cross? forgive them for they know not what they do…couldn’t God have zapped them all out at that moment? Of course he could have but he didn’t, so why should we?
Fair? Bachmann Ridiculed For Cracking God and Natural Disaster Joke
August 30, 2011 at 8:16am
I read about this yesterday. Yahoo “News” is notorious for posting anti conservative stories everyday and as soon as I saw the headline, something like, “Bauchman tells crowd God caused the hurricane to reign in government spending” I just sighed. We all know how the media has an agenda to search out and destroy all conservative candidates leading up to next years election and what I say is, keep it up’ as all they are doing is providing fuel to the fire..come election time we’ll just see how their stupid tricks work for them.
Columnist: MLK Sent Hurricane Because of Violence, Racism and Porn in Our Society
August 29, 2011 at 10:39am
all these things we are now witnessing today were predicted a few thousand years ago by Jesus himself but there is very little urgency within the Christian community. I often wonder how we would react if many of the terrible things which often occur internationally were to happen here? God has obviously spared this nation from many of the world’s catastrophes because of our faith in him, however we are on a rapid decline in virtually every aspect and what is worse, leading the rest of the world down with us..the time is near when all of these things we often read about elsewhere will happen here..God help us all.
‘Lies End Here’: Hear Beck’s Rousing Human Rights Message to a Dallas Church
August 29, 2011 at 10:25am
SWEATHOG-You are right but I know Glenn’s point is that all religions find common ground while respecting each others point of view…which was evident last year during his 8/28 event. On the other hand it is very dangerous for religions to merge as there is only 1 single truth and God doesn’t compromise.
IN Revelation it clearly states that there will be only 1 group saved during that terrible time..”those who keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.” There is our truth…beware when we see religions clasping hands and compromising on certain points…remember narrow is the way, never follow the majority.

DAN-I had to laugh..“Wink Wilkinson morning zoo” comment..that was funny! I have had the same minor complaint about Glenn’s radio show and the reason why I rarely listen anymore. Glenn is a superior television talent, who understands the power of persuasion but for whatever reason he pulls back a few degree’s on the radio. I suspect there are a couple of reasons for that- for one he does his show with his buddy Stu who makes him laugh and vise versa. I also think that Glenn, coming from a morning show background has a hard time leaving those “zoo” aspects behind. I find myself at times yelling at the radio, “Glenn, c-mon brother stop and get back on point.”
It used to be I’d get my radio fix each day from Rush and at night watch Glenn…guess I’ll have to fork out the $6 bucks or whatever for his new website GBTV…I love ya Glenn but have to agree with the “Zoo” post.
Should the Obamas Have Taken Separate Jets on Their Martha’s Vineyard Vacation?
August 20, 2011 at 11:23am
the only vacation I would agree he take is a permanent one. It has been said and is true that during a time of such economic unrest where millions of Americans are more concerned about putting groceries on the table than to ever consider a vacation find this il advised. How many golf outings and vacations has this president taken anyway? It seems to me that this couple views the position as justification for all the perks which go with the job, at the taxpayers expense..I conclude that he wishes to raise taxes to fund his families luxurious lifestyle.
How Does an Author Tie Bachmann & Perry to Radical Islam? Like This…
August 16, 2011 at 11:27am
I’ve done a bit of research on Dominism and it is certainly something to keep an eye on, however I think it’s a bit of a stretch to link Bachman and Perry to this movement. The authors argument that they are is very weak at best but for herself and in her opinion any candidate who is conservative and Christian will always be suspected of turning our nation into a theocracy. Although I do beleive there are both leaders and members of certain churches who share this view, it certainly isn’t mainstream..at least now anyway.
Starbucks CEO Calls for Bold Statement Against Obama, Congress
August 16, 2011 at 10:54am
and the next move after that would be to establish term limits..this I see as the greater problem because, as he said their only real concern is their re-election. career politicians lose touch with real Americans after to many years in office…Sheila Jackson Lee, Harry Reid and Nancy Peloci to name a few..on the other hand we continue to elect these people year after year to our own demise. Maybe just maybe last November was the wake up call we needed..America has had enough and unless we continue to vote in those who truly care for this nation we shall soon see an end of the great experiment.
Glenn Arrives in Israel, Visits Fogel Family Household
August 16, 2011 at 10:46am
TOMYMICHAELS – I am in total disagreement with your statement when referring Hitler to a Christian. What that man stood for was in total opposition to New Testament scripture such as “love your enemies” and since Hitler viewed Jews as his enemies he rejected Christs own teachings. Lucifer himself believes “of” Christ but rejects everything he stands for.
Mother’s Emotional Press Conference After Disabled Son Decapitated by Own Dad
August 16, 2011 at 10:29am
this is beyond shocking! Totally unfathomable to think that a father of a child could do such a inconceivable thing. Know this, our world as we know it is running out of time before our Lord returns to end this once and for all. Evil has been permitted for a very short time especially when we consider eternity. All of creation throughout the universe must be watching in horror over our little planet, an example of just how evil we truly are. Come soon Lord and save us from this wrenched place.
